Surface Follower. A 2-in-1 following in the footsteps of the MS Surface Pro 4 will likely be compared to it. Lenovo's convertible features better connectivity and a better SSD, but the display and the cameras are lacking.

Soaring High. Gigabyte wants to join the ranks of Acer, Asus, Alienware, Clevo and MSI by producing high-end notebooks. The gaming expert has grown the Aorus brand into a symbol for powerful gaming PCs. We have looked at the X7 v6 and were impressed with what we found.

Elegant long-runner. The new Zenbook by Asus inherits the best qualities of the series, such as a superb casing and low weight. Apart from the somewhat mediocre input devices, it does not present many shortcomings especially not in the fantastic battery runtimes.

Heir to the throne? With the Axon 7, ZTE is about to reach for the smartphone crown. Besides top performance and superb equipment, the 5.5-inch, high-end Android impresses with its Dolby Atmos sound system, which can fill a room with sound.

Entry-level business companion. This 14-inch Acer model has a lot to offer: simple upgrade options, good battery life, fast SSD and a reliable keyboard. The screen is the only weak point of this package: a TN panel with poor viewing angles.

Sketchbook for creators. Not satisfied with stylus inputting on a tablet? Lenovo now has the handy solution for all creative minds: Write with ink on paper and work digitally, anyway. The 10-millimeter Book is not an all-rounder, but it can do more than just digitize ink. Find out what this is in our detailed report.

Ultra thin, ultra quiet. Acer's 14-inch system with a thickness of just 11 millimeters certainly looks nice. However, the stability reaches its limits, although the maintainability is great in return. The Kaby Lake ULV is no performance miracle, and it is pretty disappointing compared to its predecessor. Read our review to find out why the display is great but still gets a point deduction.

Bombastic? High-end specifications, an excellent camera, and a large battery are supposed to justify the steep price of the google smartphone. The Google assistant and vast storage capacity for photos should do just that. But, is this sufficient?

Omen meets Pascal. After other manufacturers of high-end laptops already equipped their systems with the latest Nvidia GPU generation, HP now follows with the Omen series and launches a gaming machine for an appealing price. But is the price-performance ratio right? We will find out.

Successful Debut. The subnotebook for gamers - introduced at CES this year - receives an update to Intel's Kaby Lake CPU-generation. The subtle performance increase is welcome, especially in conjunction with the Razer Core eGPU. Razer recently announced the availability of the new Blade Stealth and Razer Core in Germany and many other parts of Europe - good news indeed.

Generation change. Higher processing performance, finally a Full HD display and a faster storage device turn HP's new notebook into a true office all-rounder. Despite these new features, the laptop has also inherited disadvantageous properties.

The superior Z? As the cheaper sibling of the Moto Z flagship smartphone, the Moto Z Play can also be expanded via Moto Mods. As well as a larger battery, it is also equipped with a higher resolution primary camera at a much lower price. Our test reveals which features it does not have.

Great visuals. Battlefield once again shows how nice a video game can look nowadays. We will find out what that means for the system requirements for notebooks as well as desktop systems.

Well Connected. Sleek looks, mobile internet and good pricing make the Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business a suitable companion for offices. In this review, we will find out how suitable this tablet is for private use.

Now in Rose Gold. The Kaby Lake update adds little to an already excellent XPS 13 experience. Users will only see marginal benefits in both performance and battery life when compared to the outgoing Skylake XPS 13.

Cheap and slow. The 6 W Celeron CPU makes for a subpar Windows 10 experience even when equipped with a primary SSD. Quiet operation and long battery life are the main benefits for such a low-power configuration.

Designer piece. Asus has treated the 5.5-inch ZenFone 3 to premium looks while keeping performance and configuration in mind. The outcome is a good and affordable mid-range smartphone that hardly exhibits any shortcomings in the test.

Zen of wishes? Asus' new tablet with the size of an iPad Mini not only offers good features including WWAN modem and stereo speakers, but it is also comparatively affordable. Does the more expensive competition have a problem?

Lacks contrast. Although well-equipped, the entry-level smartphone A8 Max from Blackview sells for only 90 Euro (~$99) - and that even includes shipping. The low-budget smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer scores with a good price-to-value ratio, but is held back by the rather unimpressive contrast ratio of its IPS HD panel.

Compact and enduring, but no more high-end. Sony once again offers a Compact version of its flagship smartphone this year. However, the smaller model will have to make do with slower components from now on. Our review shows why this is not necessarily a problem.

All-rounder with gaming qualities. With the Zenbook UX510UW, Asus has created a successful compromise of a good gaming laptop and all-rounder for everyday use. The slim laptop pleases with a good configuration and good rates. However, the laptop has its shortcomings.

A souped-up GT72. We checked out the GT73VR last month in its 1080p and GTX 1070 configuration and were blown away by its performance and workmanship. The pricier 4K UHD and 1080 SKU is even better, but it makes some sacrifices regarding contrast and colors.

GP107 by Samsung The GTX 1050 Ti is Nvidia's latest addition to its Pascal line-up below the GTX 1060. Our review will show how the 14-nm chip, which is produced by Samsung, performs and whether it can compete with AMD in this price segment.

Shaky candidate. The basically good and very long-running premium-range convertible stumbles - of all things - over its redesigned hinges. The manufacturer will have to rework this feature since a shaky display prevents using it in the Laptop Mode. That is all that has to be criticized since the new ZenBook has a lot to offer.

Successful debut. Xiaomi delivers its first product into the notebook field with the Mi Notebook Air. The Chinese manufacturer does not do things in a small way and wants to play in a league with established competitors. You can read in our detailed test review whether the upstart can perform such a feat or not.

Long lasting. LG's X Power wants to persuade with a gigantic battery and low price. The Korean manufacturer also treats it to a quick-charge feature and USB OTG that allows recharging friends' smartphones. Great success. The Fujitsu Celsius H760 is a successful example of a classic workstation. Performance, flexibility, quality and ergonomics are the most important characteristics. Our in-depth review shows what else you can expect from the test model.

Superlative. If the price is not important and you want the maximum amount of performance, the MSI GT83VR is currently the best solution for fans of desktop replacements. The 18-inch gaming laptop is equipped with two Pascal GPUs in an SLI system. The other components are also state of the art. Our review will show whether the cooling system can handle demanding 3D workloads.

AMD @Business. Around 790 Euros (~$873) has to be put on the table for the ProBook 655 G2. For that, you get a business notebook which delights with good input devices, a robust casing and low operating noise. Unfortunately, it disappoints once again with the screen.

A rounded bundle. Acer's slim laptop pleases with an elegant aluminum casing. The configuration is also fitting: IPS panel, fast processor, SSD. The good battery life, backlit keyboard, and a three-year warranty supplement this.

Surprise! A graphics card in an external case - familiar. In the past, this technology has not worked as intended. In this review, we put all that aside and take a look at what the GPU is capable of. Update 10-15-2016: Aspire Switch 12S does not turn into a gamer.

Interesting scenario with technical issues. One thing right away: You will be disappointed if you expect triple-A graphics from “Mafia 3”. The visual quality of the open-world game is average at best. Our benchmark test will show whether this is at least good news for users of low-end and mainstream PCs.

Round 4. The Moto G4 Play may be the cheapest device of the Moto G lineup, but Lenovo has not cut all the corners. In our tests, the 5-inch Android smartphone impressed us with its good price-to-performance ratio, good hardware and long runtimes.

Engine Switch. Every year, football fans get to choose between the two giants, Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA. The latter has just been released in its 17th iteration with gleaming graphics. We ran FIFA 17 on multiple notebook and desktop GPUs to check how well the game runs.

Slim and fast. Thanks to the new Pascal GPU, MSI now packs high-end performance into a slim laptop. The temperature development is okay and other areas of the GS63VR Stealth Pro are convincing as well, but MSI should have another look at the fans.

Pricey yet powerful. Lenovo’s latest P70 configuration features an Intel Xeon Skylake CPU and bumps the GPU to an NVIDIA M4000M, while also introducing NVMe SSD storage. How do these upgrades affect overall performance? And is this still a workstation worth considering today?

No performance compromises. The unique Aorus X5 is back with Pascal, individually lit RGB keys, and 120 Hz/5 ms FHD display options all in a chassis just under 23 mm thick. Owners will get the same gaming performance as a desktop with GTX 1070 graphics, albeit in a much louder package.

Hottie!Leagoo's M5 is an affordable entry-level smartphone with one great feature - according to the manufacturer, the screen is fracture and breakage resistant should it be dropped. To achieve this, the manufacturer has installed a solid metal frame and an especially hardened glass front. However, this resistance seems to be at the expense of heat dissipation since the M5 presents its hot side in the test.

Limited edition. Only 999 UMi Super Euro Edition smartphones were supposedly released worldwide. The blue smartphone is thus pretty exclusive, although it doesn't differ much from the standard UMi Super. The smartphone from China is great in some areas, but some features are far from "super".

There is strong shadow where there is much light. It is quite justified to be skeptical about the quality of smartphones sold at a street price of around 75 Euros (~$84). Oukitel, however, proves that a manufacturer can build an appealing device even in the very low-budget sector with its U7 Plus model. Although some compromises have to be made when buying the entry-level smartphone, Oukitel's U7 Plus convinces with its good price-performance ratio in the test.

Inexhaustible. The TravelMate B117-M offers silent operation, very long battery runtimes, and a three-year warranty. At a price of 550 Euros (~$616), it is not one of the cheapest models. The installed SSD and Windows 7 and Windows 10 Pro version are reflected in the price.

Fast, faster, fastest. Two months after the launch of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founder's Edition, the Nvidia Titan X was introduced to the public on 8th of August 2016. The new Titan X is based on the Pascal architecture, which has significantly improved the performance of the smaller variants. 1024 shader units more than the GeForce GTX 1080, 12 GB GDDR5X VRAM, and a wider memory interface raise hope for outstanding performance. In our review, you will find out how well the higher performance potential can be used and whether there are also points of criticism.

A vision in white. Although the tester wouldn't want to marry the light and compact, 15-inch multimedia device by Lenovo, he doesn't have anything against a business relationship. The newcomer with a dedicated GeForce 940MX did not really show any major shortcomings in the test. The most striking feature, however, remains to be the unusual color that will certainly also appeal to female users.

Small update, no effect?! Dell secretly updated its top seller: The XPS 13 is one of the first models that gets the latest Kaby Lake processors from Intel. The chassis does not appear to be changed, and the display is similar as well. We once again do a live review and will update the article continuously.

Skylake convertible. The Cube i7 offers a fast Core m3-6Y30 SoC, 64 GB SSD, and a 10.6-inch IPS touchscreen for little money. Logically, cutbacks had to be made in many places. We will reveal where concessions have to be accepted in this test of the tablet including a keyboard dock.

Pulled parking brake. Apart from its quiet operating noise, Acer's 15.6-inch device does not attract any attention. Unfortunately, the installed Core i5 processor cannot develop its full computing power.

The Killer AC 1535 is a high-end ac standard WLAN card, which offers numerous features, with special focus on gamers. In our review, features, such as, MU-MIMU, ExtremeRange and Advanced Stream Detect will be tested.

Disappointing screen. HP's mid-range business laptop pleases with decent input devices, solid casing, good battery life, and low system noise - unlike the Full HD panel that is a disappointment. We expect considerably more from a 1050 Euro (~$1179) laptop.

Too hot to handle. We revisit the Clevo P775DM1 as the Eurocom Sky X7E2 with an unlocked LGA 1151 CPU and the fastest Pascal GPU to date. Core temperatures and fan noise are both quite high as expected when such high TDP components are involved.

Tangled up in blue. The HP Notebook 15z is a run-of-the-mill, 15.6-inch notebook designed to fulfill basic needs. While it fails to stand out from the crowd, it offers "just enough" performance for everyday tasks and has no real significant shortcomings aside from a fairly high price.

An earful. The speakers most manufacturers integrate into their smartphones, tablets and even notebooks often leave something to be desired. One option is to hook up external speakers which can easily be connected via Bluetooth technology. We check three different speaker systems and evaluate their sound quality.

Moto-mania. Not only does Lenovo's new flagship Moto Z feature high-end technology, it also aims to attract customers with its modular expandability and extremely slim design. Does the concept work in practice or are there even any drawbacks such as reduced battery runtimes?

Blue marvel. The Honor 8 comes to us in an appealing 2.5D-glass casing and classy colors. But is a stylish casing and dual-camera enough to convince buyers in the highly competitive mid-range? We will find out in our test.

Lots of hardware for little money. Thanks to a GeForce GTX 950M and a cutting-edge Kaby Lake processor, Acer's Aspire E5-575G should render even sophisticated games smoothly - and this at a competitive price of just 600 Euros ($673). What is the catch?

Good Package. The Hewlett Packard Pavilion 15-aw004ng is an interesting notebook. The 15.6 inch allrounder packs a matte FHD screen, a SSD and an AMD dual graphics setup. The price for all these goodies: 550 Euros. A price like that for a packet like this can convince most buyers to look the other way when faced with certain flaws, such as, below-average battery life and a one year warranty.

Well-designed penny pincher. The little-known Chinese manufacturer, UleFone, is offering a new entry-level smartphone. The device may be cheap, but as the name suggests, the UleFone Metal offers a metal finish and good technical features.

Plain, yet Pascal. Gigabyte hasn’t changed much in their latest refresh of the P57 series gaming machines, but the big headliner here is the introduction of newer NVIDIA Pascal architecture GPUs. With a GTX 1070 in charge, is the P57X v6 likely to turn any heads?

Penny business. The Dell Latitude 3470 is a device that wants to attract users with its low price. Read our review to find out if this works.

Risky gamble. Infinite worlds, endless boredom - critics could easily sum up No Man's Sky with this sentence. We checked this game by British indie developer, Hello Games, on laptops and desktop PCs to see how it performs.

Silver companion! Lenovo presents another 14-inch lightweight that is furnished with a ULV processor and Intel Iris graphics. Its attempt to mingle in the premium range is not completely successful. Explosive combination. The Note is finally available in Europe again. The launch, however, is overshadowed by technical problems causing a world-wide recall. We still had a look at the Galaxy Note 7.

Fade to white. Acer's entry-level E-series caters to users with more basic needs. The 15.6-inch notebook is a solid everyday performer held back by a less-than-stellar display panel and subpar battery life.

Battery behemoth. The Taiwanese manufacturer, Acer, touts its Liquid Zest Plus as an accessory for travels: A long battery life, and high-quality audio and camera quality are to make the mid-range handset the ideal travel companion. Find out in our test whether this is true.

Successful desktop replacement. Acer delivers a well-equipped, 17.3-inch all-rounder for the home desk in the form of the Aspire E5-774g. The GeForce 940MX alongside a GDDR5 memory renders many games smoothly on the matte Full HD screen. However, the buyer has to fork up almost 1000 Euros (~$1122) for the total package.

The second one features better zooming. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is showing off with two main cameras and a powerful processor. All of this is sitting inside a water and dust resistant case with two new colors. You also get stereo speakers, but the analog headphone jack has been removed.

Popular design. The CDK07 docking keyboard transforms the Cube i9 into a full-fledged convertible PC. The design of this dock is similar to that of the "Touch" cover from Microsoft. In this review, we will check how the docking keyboard fares in comparison to the Microsoft product and how good the Cube i9 is as a convertible PC.

Cheap Thrills. "Cheaper is always possible", Huawei thought, and it thus reduced the price of the lower mid-range with its Y6 II Compact. Is that enough for a convincing presentation?

Now, it is also waterproof. The case of the new iPhone is now also protected against water and dust. There are also improvements in respect to the camera as well as the display, combined with a lot of performance. A headphone jack is, however, not available anymore. Sound output is now handled by the Lightning port instead.

A souped-up Y700. The higher-end Y900 feels unique with more features and better craftsmanship than its immediately Y700 predecessor. Unfortunately, its chiclet mechanical keyboard, loud pulsating fans, and high starting price leave a lot to be desired.

Keyboard fail. HP sends a 15-inch convertible from its x360 Pavilion lineup into the race. The competition has grown quite a bit in the past months - even if a high-rider is not among them, all opponents are at least relatively good. Can the Pavilion stand its ground with its inner values? Or will it fail thanks to its keyboard?

Well-rounded package. The Lenovo IdeaPad 510S-13ISK is a nice 13.3-inch subnotebook, which offers a Full HD IPS screen, a Skylake processor and a backlit keyboard. However, the battery should last longer.

Gigantic convertible. A 17-inch convertible? Why not? Anyone preferring the stationary use of Windows 10 in tablet mode should be absolutely happy with this somewhat unusual combination. However, the Inspiron also does a good job as a conventional office machine - only the keyboard could have been of a higher quality for this price.

Play with Pascal. Nexoc also upgrades to Nvidia's new Pascal architecture now and incorporates the GeForce GTX 1070 in a 17.3-inch notebook. High performance meets a high-end case and decent input devices. We were only bothered about the fans and the temperature increase.

Challenging the desktop. Desktop PC performance without compromises is what Schenker Technologies wants to achieve with its most expensive gaming notebook the XMG U727. The 17-inch model is equipped with two high-end MXM GPUs as well as a socketed CPU. Nvidia’s brand-new Pascal architecture promises sufficient performance for 4K.

Fort Knox. BlackBerry advertises its 5.2-inch DTEK50 as the most secure Android smartphone in the world. Consequently, the mid-range handset comes with an impressive selection of security features; nevertheless it is just as easy to handle as a standard Android device.

Faster performance, cooler temperatures. If size and weight aren't concerns, then the GT72VR is your best bet with GTX 1060 graphics. Surface temperatures and fan noise are both low for a gaming notebook.

Low-budget flagship smartphone? Low-budget flagship smartphone? The R7 is the first self-titled flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Blackview – for a local price of around 160 Euros (~$180). We will check how the new flagship performs in our in-depth review.

Surprisingly powerful. Not a new architecture and not a new process – but Intel's gently optimized Kaby Lake generation still manages a significant frequency and performance jump. We tested the new Core i7-7500U. Update 09/12/2016: New benchmarks of the Core i5-7200U.

Designed by Nvidia. The smaller sibling of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founder's Edition is called Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Founder's Edition. Powered by a Pascal GPU chip with 8 GB of GDDR5 VRAM, the card is supposed to prevail, especially in the lower high-end range. Learn in this review, whether Nvidia has actually achieved this, and where there might be weaknesses.

The Mighty Giant. Just this May, we reviewed the Predator 17 G9-792 with GTX 980M GPU. Now Acer has released the nearly identical successor, this time equipped with a GTX 1070 graphics card. The behemoth manages to impress once again with special features like an additional FrostCore cooling fan. Is the Predator "cooler" than its competition?

A "pocket" computer? Acer's Jade Primo is a premium-range smartphone based on Windows 10 Mobile that can also be used as a PC thanks to the Continuum function. That also makes it a direct opponent for Microsoft's top models. The handset's wireless connections are particularly convincing, but it could be a bit more enduring.

Middle of the pack. The 15.6-inch Lenovo all-rounder is priced relatively high for the average features that it offers. The case and screen are both weak points that influence the rating.

One step forward. The GE series was previously limited to the GTX 970M, but the introduction of the GTX 1060 now gives it GTX 980M-level graphics power without necessarily raising costs or temperatures.

The heart beats faster. While the majority of notebooks are only equipped with 60 Hz panels, the GT73VR is one of the first systems with a 120 Hz display. MSI does not compromise the other sections, either, and it ships the desktop replacement with numerous features including overclocking. Does the additional price compared to a standard gaming notebook pay off? We will find out.

1080p60 gaming on a 14-incher. Stuff a GTX 1060 into an existing small form factor design and you'll automatically get one of the fastest 14-inch notebooks around. The GS40 series has made the leap to Pascal as the new GS43VR, though fan noise isn't necessarily any quieter.

The finger makes the difference. The U Feel is a new mainstream smartphone from the French manufacturer Wiko. Two highlights are the design and the fingerprint scanner, which can trigger different actions depending on the finger. Read our review to see what the smartphone is capable of.

Fold mode. Despite Surface Pro 4 convertibles with laptop power, manufacturers are throwing 360-degree laptops with standard processors onto the market. With a price tag of price of 1000 Euros (~$1115), they are not exactly cheap. Additional interfaces and maintenance have their price. How does Dell's 13.3-inch model fit into this field of competition?

Desirable. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a compelling package. No other other 10-inch tablet with Android 6, LTE and Full-HD on the market offers more for less. If the performance is up to par as well is the subject of our review.

21 hours. Stylish aluminum dress meets 360-degree hinge. Is the 650 Euro (~$725) model a match for its more expensive rivals? Why does it last 21 hours when idling, but not even 5 hours when browsing on the Internet?

A Pixel Competitor… Premium materials, meticulous design, a high-res screen, and great performance. HP seeks to redefine the Chromebook with the closest thing we’ve seen to a Pixel since Google first introduced it.

Pascal Debut. After many notebooks based on the brand new high-end GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 GPUs have passed through our hands, we can now take a look at the equally exciting GTX 1060. Is the 16 nm architecture also convincing in this case? The Schenker XMG P507 provides the answers.

Let the games begin. Asus sent us one of the first 15-inch notebooks with the extremely fast Pascal GPU GeForce GTX 1070. The informed reader expects big performance gains and is not disappointed. The manufacturer focuses on continuity for the other aspects of the system, which is usually the correct decision.

Affordable, but not perfect. HP does not even charge 700 Euros (~$790) for its new Windows detachable, which comes with a Core-m processor, a digitizer and a keyboard dock. But how does the device compare with the much more expensive Surface Pro 4 from Microsoft?

Thinnest Pascal yet. This complete chassis overhaul provides GTX 980M-level graphics performance in a smaller, lighter, and cooler package. Fan noise is still a stumbling point for a series that delicately balances between a razer-sharp design philosophy and enthusiast-level GTX GPUs.

Camera expert. LG's latest product line with an "X" in its name combines mid-range smartphones with handpicked features that are normally found in the smartphone premium range. LG's X Cam stands out with a special "x-tra" in the camera section. Find out whether the camera module's quality is also "x-tra" good.

The same, but one size bigger, please. The hardware in Asus' ZenPad 10.0 is largely identical to that of the 8.0-inch version, which convinced us in terms of price-performance. Thus, the total rating will mostly depend on the quality of the main differentiator - namely, the 10-inch display.

Desktop replacement! The latest model of the ROG-series is supposed to be a big leap in terms of performance. Thanks to the brand-new and powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 from the new Pascal lineup, the chances are not bad. This article will find out whether this plan works and if Asus can beat the rivals.

GTX 980 in a mini PC. The ZBox EN980 is one of the first mini PCs to be VR Ready and, surprisingly, it runs relatively cool and quietly thanks to its dense cooling system. Nonetheless, idling fan noise could have been quieter and the system is still missing some key features we find should be common for its $1600 USD price.

Hot handset. Opposing the trend of touch control, Blackberry still incorporates a physical keyboard with slider mechanism in its Priv top model. Our report reveals whether this balancing act between classic and modernity is successful, and what features the smartphone has to offer beyond that.
