New look – old qualities. The cheapest model of the Redmi-Note-13 series continues to feature a bright 120-Hz AMOLED display and apart from this, it boasts decent features for around US$200. However, the competition keeps growing. Can the newest version of the mid-range classic still keep up?

Bargain flagship phone? After a long time, Nubia is once again selling one of its flagship phones globally. And the device is pretty remarkable: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, UDC, IP certification, a unique triple camera setup and much more. You can already get one for less than €700 (US$600). A true hidden gem?

Charging is optional. Not many manufacturers would dare to build a smartphone that is 2.7 centimeters thick and weighs almost 580 grams. But the huge Oukitel WP33 Pro also has a lot to offer: Several days of non-stop operation, night vision camera and a holding strap. A great working device or madness?

Zen4 second generation. AMD's latest Ryzen 8000 processors, branded Hawk Point, are a major upgrade over last year's Phoenix CPUs. In our testing, we evaluated the performance of the new Ryzen 9 8945HS in the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, comparing it to its predecessor, the 7945HS, and the new Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra 7 155H.

Evolution. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is evolving from a niche product into a mainstream favorite. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a whopping 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, the 6.78-inch device will certainly win the hearts of gamers. In our review, it also proves to be a strong all-rounder with a discreet design and plentiful features, giving competitors such as the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max a run for their money.

Affordable and compact. The Galaxy Tab A9 is a compact tablet with long software support for people on a budget. During our review, the €170 (US$160) Samsung tablet surprised us with a bright display and offers a comprehensive set of features. But read on to find out whom this tablet isn’t for.

Super-lative to the RTX 3090. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super retails for the same original price of US$599 as the RTX 4070 while offering nearly 21% higher shader counts. We evaluate how this benefits synthetic benchmarks and games in comparison with other cards, particularly against Team Red's offerings such as the Radeon RX 7800 XT that retails for US$100 less. Worse performance than expected! The Maxtang MTN-FP750 is a relatively unspectacular mini PC and, in its more powerful variant, it comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS. We put the compact office PC, its 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD through its paces and analyzed its performance.

Flagship. The Scar 18 is currently one of the most powerful laptops. The Core i9-14900HX and GeForce RTX 4090 enable 4k gaming, video processing, and rendering. The bright and vibrant mini-LED display (18 inch, 2560x1600 pixel) is a feast for the eyes.

The biggest competitor to Apple's MacBook Pro 14? The new ROG Zephyrus G14 hasn't set its focus on maximum performance anymore—instead, Asus aims to speak to a larger audience with the help of the laptop's slimmer and more compact aluminum case. The result is an astounding gaming/multimedia hybrid that offers great performance and only features a handful of weaknesses.

Huge screen for little money. At around $200, Lenovo's Smart Projector sounds like a steal. Wi-Fi 6, 1080p resolution, Miracast, auto-focus, decent brightness, smart speaker mode, USB pen drive support, several color options to choose from. Regrettably, things are not as good with this projector as it would seem.

Reading in XXL format. At 13.3 inches, the Onyx Boox Tab X is one of the largest e-ink tablets on the market. Thanks to the Android operating system, it offers app support and therefore enables a wide range of applications. Find out how the tablet performs in our comprehensive test here.

Nearly smashes the pavilion. HP aims to tap into the burgeoning entry-level creator market with the Pavilion Plus 16. The Pavilion Plus 16 is among the few laptops to feature the RTX 3050 6 GB GPU along with a Core i7-13700H, 16 GB RAM, and a QHD+ 120 Hz IPS display. While decent in its own right, comparison with similar laptops shows HP could have minimized some of the compromises for an even more compelling ₹1,24,999 (US$1,350) proposition.

Unabashedly big with 175 W GeForce RTX graphics. Thin-and-light gaming laptops are nice and all, but they often shave off some GPU performance in order to reach a certain size and weight. Stay frosty! Gigabyte recently launched the Waterforce X II 360 as the successor to the well-received Waterforce X. While the Waterforce X II 360 does a great job in cooling our Intel Core i9-13900K, improvements this time such as a larger pump for AMD Threadripper CPUs, customizable LCD, and magnetic daisy-chain FDB fans do not come cheap.

Affordable or already too cheap? A tablet for 100 Euros (~$108), can this work? With many affordable competitors, we can definitely give a positive answer to this question. But with the Teclast P26T, the combination of several disadvantages makes us doubt that the 10.1-inch tablet is a good deal, despite its affordable price. Our test shows for whom a purchase might still be worthwhile.

Good performance, discreet appearance! The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super, the last model in the new generation of ADA graphics cards with the Super suffix, will be the focus of our review. We examined the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 Super Trinity Black Edition in further detail and evaluated the model's performance during most recent games.

GeForce RTX 4060 at 115 watts. At this year's CES, Lenovo presented its new Legion 5i 16 G9 and we have already had the chance to test the new mid-range gaming laptop. Its new Core i7-14650HX in combination with the RTX 4060 Laptop power a fast 240-Hz QHD panel. Of course, AI functions are also on board in the year 2024—but to no effect.

Transformer. With its clever accessories, the OneXPlay defies classification. The strong AMD Ryzen 7 7840 is great for gaming, but also performs well in many other tasks. Only the software is not quite finished yet.

Ultimate HDR laptop for $5000. MSI's biggest and fastest gaming laptop is back this year with an even larger screen size than before. The redesign aligns with Intel's latest Raptor Lake-HX refresh and is the first 18-inch MSI laptop ever since the old GT80 series from several years ago.

Early-access hit. Not least because of its interesting mix of building, exploration and survival, the open-world game—created by the German developer Keen Games—has very quickly exploded in popularity on Steam. We have tested whether you need a high-end system in order to run the game.

Tablet with up to 8 GB RAM at a bargain price. The Blackview Tab 80 is a very affordable, 10.1-inch entry-level tablet with dual SIM. 200-megapixel midrange. Xiaomi's well-loved Redmi Note series is back and offers something new: With the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G we have, for example, a 200 megapixel camera, e-SIM support and, if desired, tons of storage. Questionable combination! With the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 4090 Gaming Box, Gigabyte offers an eGPU based on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090. This now allows you to easily connect the fastest graphics card model for the consumer segment to your laptop or mini PC. But there are also some things to consider. We analyze in this review what exactly these are and what performance you can expect.

Reading Android. With pen input, Android operating system, and a stylish metal casing, the Onyx Boox Note Air 3 aims to win over buyers looking at a capable e-ink tablet. We liked the version with the color display before and set out to see if the version with the black and white E-Ink Carta display is convincing as well.

Little high-flyer. Excellent battery life, 90-watt fast charging, 3 Leica cameras with 50 MP and a 3000-nit bright OLED panel that runs at 120 Hz. So far, so good, but the compact Xiaomi 14 pulls another ace out of its sleeve with Qualcomm's latest high-end SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Is this a smartphone without any weaknesses? Affordable work device with room for improvement! The Venus Series UN100L is a particularly inexpensive and compact PC sold by Minisforum. The manufacturer has installed an Intel N100 with four computing units as a base. For under US$200, you can currently get the system with 8 GB DDR5 RAM and a 256-GB SSD. We have analyzed the affordable mini PC in detail.

Smartphone lookalike. The Onyx Boox Palma looks like a cell phone but lacks essential functions such as mobile communications. So it's more of a very handy e-book reader with Android app support and even a small camera. Find out what you can do with the Palma in our test.

Hot, powerful and heavy. The Ayaneo Kun feels extremely high-quality, weighs considerably more than other handhelds, but it has a long-lasting battery and the most powerful Ryzen 7 7840U in our database. Not a lightweight. For the G15 5530, Dell is going against the trend of slimming down devices and has given the 15-inch laptop a fairly bulky and heavy chassis. We compared the G15 with other RTX 4050 gaming laptops to find out whether the €1,000 (US$1,090) model is worth the money.

An exciting mix of genres. Palworld has quickly become a surprising success on Steam within just a few days. This early access title combines elements from various games like Pokemon, Ark, and Zelda. We delved deeper into this visually demanding game.

Shines on the inside. Powerful with a gleaming OLED display and an acceptable iGPU. Adding to this is a whole variety of extras, creating a workstation that's true to its name. The ThinkPad workstation's features continue with a robust case, stable keyboard, security functions and remote maintenance. However, the device can't escape all criticism.

An unexpected success. Ubisoft revives a time-honoured game series with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which has been well-received by both gamers and the press. Our benchmark check clarifies whether the hardware requirements are also convincing.

Back-office worker. Inconspicuous emissions, visual understatement, quiet keys, a large ClickPad, and hardware that can be upgraded: Acer's 14-inch laptop can compete with Windows notebooks at the level of the HP ProBook, Lenovo ThinkPad, and Dell Latitude. But in contrast to those, it avoids standing out at all costs.

On hold. Is this the new one? The Pixel Watch 2 looks and feels similar to the Pixel Watch 1, having the same size and offering a moderate battery life. Although Google introduces a new processor, it also eliminates some features. Let's discover together how the Pixel Watch 2 performs in everyday use, shall we?

Powerful and compact. Tuxedo's Pulse 14 Gen3 is a new subnotebook with a fast AMD Zen4 processor and a high-res 3K IPS display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Furthermore, it features 32 GB RAM as standard and many connectivity options. So, is this the perfect Linux Ultrabook?

Detachable Radeon discrete graphics. The name may be generic, but the design is anything but. The environmentally-friendly Laptop 16 takes everything great about the Laptop 13.5 and bumps it up a notch with even more upgradeable and customizable components including a removable Radeon RDNA 3 GPU.

A heavy worker. No glamour, no pomp: Lenovo's small workstation concentrates on its system performance, which is considerable thanks to its AMD Radeon 780M GPU. Its equally exceptional efficiency is reflected in the excellent battery life. All would be well if it weren't for a few unnecessary weaknesses.

Price and performance that are hard to beat. Despite opting for high-end features such as 240-watt fast charging, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, an OIS camera system, and tri-band GPS, the Realme GT5 can be had for a comparatively reasonable price. Our review reveals where the $550 flagship killer's weaknesses are to be found.

All metal, all AMD. The ThinkPad Z13 is back this year sporting AMD Zen 4 Ryzen Pro CPUs wrapped inside the same sleek G1 chassis as before. Is the lone CPU upgrade enough to justify this G2 refresh?

Ultrabook with 2K resolution and touch display. Huawei has updated the MateBook 14 and is now offering an Intel 12th generation processor in the high-quality midrange ultrabook. Our test shows whether an upgrade is worthwhile and how the model that visually shows a strong resemblance to the MacBook Air fares in our comparison.

Affordable gaming laptop. The Nitro V 15 is aimed at gamers looking for a powerful laptop in the €1,000 (US$1,085) price bracket. Read our review to find out whether the configuration with a GeForce RTX 4050 can keep pace with the competition.

Detachable: The Lenovo Legion Go is a different kind of detachable. Instead of removing the keyboard, on this device, you simply take off both of its controllers—turning the gaming handheld into a tablet. Its FPS mode is particularly interesting, which transforms the controllers into a mouse and keyboard. Unfortunately, not everything ran smoothly in our test.

Active AirJet cooling without fan. Zotac's compact pico series has undergone a significant upgrade. Alongside the introduction of the new Intel Core i3-N300 featuring 8 Alder Lake cores, Zotac stands out as the first producer to incorporate a novel cooling system. Two active AirJet modules are implemented to effectively manage the SoC even during heavy usage. We have evaluated the effectiveness of this system and assessed the overall performance of the Zotac Zbox pico PI430AJ in daily usage.

Exceedingly average. The Xming Page One is a projector under the Formovie brand. Branded as the "world's first Google TV LCD projector," the Page One does little to stand out in an increasingly busy market. While it doesn't have many downsides, it also doesn't have any "must-have" features.

Money-saver. The 10.5-inch Teclast T45HD offers lots of features for little money. For well under US$200, you get a surfing and multimedia tablet with a slim metal case, fast storage, a large battery, and even dual-SIM support with 4G. Our review will show who this budget tablet is made for.

Raptor Lake meets USB 2.0. Huawei has equipped the 2024 model of its multimedia laptop, the MateBook D 16, with an Intel Core i9-13900H processor. However, it is held back by its power limits. Severe cuts have been made, especially regarding the ports but, by contrast, the battery life has improved.

Plenty of storage. The Teclast T60's main features include an impressive display and a large battery. It is priced around ~$300, however it is frequently available at significantly lower prices. While it lacks in power, it does support mobile phones and has plenty of storage.

Cheapest laptop? In this review, we will be taking a look at the current cheapest new laptop on the market. A Full-HD display, 8-core CPU as well as a slim and appealing case all sounds rather alluring. However, its ChromeOS, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC storage, as stated in the laptop's specs, may well unveil how costs have been cut.

Performance before efficiency. Intel's Raptor Lake-HX Refresh is an update of its fastest mobile processors which are used in powerful multimedia and gaming laptops, promising better performance while gaming and in single-core scenarios. Efficient SoC for desktop systems! The Minisforum BD770i is a motherboard that includes a permanently soldered APU. The AMD Ryzen 7 7745HX is installed here, along with a large heat sink. As a result, there should be no thermal issues with the SoC. We coupled the Minisforum BD770i with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 to see whether we could make a relatively compact gaming system. All of the results may be found in this review.

Savings made. An aluminum unibody case, four Dolby Atmos certified speakers and a 90-Hz display—all within a tablet for US$220. Xiaomi's Redmi Pad SE is an exciting package for an attractive price. Our review will determine whether the device has any weaknesses.

Mini update. Schenker offers its Vision 14 with the GeForce RTX 3050 Refresh, featuring more graphics memory. All-in-all, its performance has remained almost the same and it can come nowhere near the GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop. With its high-resolution IPS display and good maintenance options—allowing for up to 64 GB RAM—the laptop still proves to be an interesting option.

Endurance runner. The Asus CM 14 Chromebook is a low-cost option. It does, however, have benefits such as a 12-hour battery life and a 10-year update guarantee. Our testing reveals where Asus made compromises and how the Chromebook performs in regular situations.

Weak SoC. The Asus ExpertCenter PN42 is a mini PC that features an Intel N200, amongst other things. The SoC is cooled passively, which has some advantages as well as disadvantages. In this review, we will be analyzing whether Asus has missed the mark in doing this, and we will be taking a look at the device's performance with the help of a variety of measurements and benchmarks while comparing it to similarly equipped mini PCs.

TUF to beat for the price. It's a "plain" look when compared to the flashier ROG series, but the focus on speed and simplicity is what's most important for gamers on tighter budgets. However, potential buyers should be aware of all the cut corners.

Ryzen 7 Pro in P15v's successor. With the ThinkPad P16v G1, Lenovo is offering an affordable mobile workstation that can be configured with either an AMD or Intel CPU. We tested out the AMD version equipped with an Nvidia RTX A1000, which particularly stands out with its impressively long battery life.

The fastest Poco. Xiaomi's Poco series is synonymous with affordable yet well-equipped smartphones, and the Poco F5 Pro is no exception. This 6.67-inch device boasts a high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 120 Hz AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution and a full always-on function, a triple camera setup, and fast charging that takes under 1 hour.

More illusion than reality. NiPoGi has given its AD08 an Intel Core i7-12650H which delivers enough performance to master everyday office tasks. As a compact gaming PC taking on a tower format, the manufacturer has gone a slightly different route when it comes to its design. In this review, you can read about what advantages arise as a result of this, and how well the NiPoGi AD08 performs compared to similarly equipped mini PCs.

What is a power bank doing whilst charging? This is particularly important to know when you have a portable battery with a power budget of 200 watts. Anker demonstrates how to cleverly present this information on a display. That said, the Prime has a problem we've often seen in other Anker products.

House cat. The 10.36-inch tablet Teclast T40 HD features faster UFS-2.0 storage which is seldomly seen within this price range. Furthermore, you can surf the web on the device using a SIM card. This sounds like a good deal for the price — but does it have weaknesses, too?

Access the Internet almost anywhere. The Teclast M50 HD costs barely 190 Euros ($160 in the US), but you can also get it for significantly cheaper during some sales. You get a lot of storage and a dual-SIM slot, also allowing you to access the Internet or make phone calls on the road. Despite its lack of performance, is it still a good deal?

HyperOS as a game changer? With its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which is also equipped with the new HyperOS, aims to score with a lot of performance and also bring some excitement to some camera fans with the new, extremely light-sensitive Leica Summilux lens and variable aperture. Find out in our review, whether a purchase of the Xiaomi smartphone is worthwhile.

More performance, but worse runtimes. Lenovo now offers its 14-inch Yoga Pro 7 14 G8 with the current AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS (Zen4), which may offer more performance compared to the old Ryzen 7 7735HS, however, this takes its toll on the device's battery life and noise emissions.

Actual Core Ultra 7 retail unit. We went out and bought our own 1st gen Core Ultra laptop from a retail store. Is a brick-and-mortar unit just as good as all the Core Ultra 7 press units designed for reviewers? For $1400, it better be.

Bread and butter business with AMD. The ThinkPad T series is one of the most important parts of Lenovo's enterprise PC portfolio. Corporate purchasers get the choice: AMD or Intel for their client. There are arguments for both - with efficiency being on the side of the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 AMD.

Cheap tracker. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is one of the most affordable fitness trackers on the market. Our test report reveals what the wearable has to offer for just under 40 Euros/~$44 RRP, whether the manufacturer has eliminated a major shortcoming of its predecessor and whether it is worth buying.

More than jewelry. With the FreeClip, Huawei takes a new approach to headphones and clamps them directly to the ear with the new C-bridge, while still promising full sound, a secure fit and crystal-clear calls. We have tested the FreeClip extensively.

Exotic foldable phone. Aside from its foldable OLED panel, the Oppo Find N3 Fold tries to score points through its strong camera, including a periscope lens. In our review of the Find N3, you can find out whether the Oppo phone delivers what it promises.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The ZBook Power 15 G10 is one of the few 15.6-inch workstations to ship with both AMD Zen 4 Pro CPUs and Nvidia RTX Ada GPUs. If you don't mind missing out on 4K, OLED, ECC RAM, and 16-inch screen sizes, then the ZBook Power 15 G10 should prove to be a reliable classic.

Genre gem. After months or even years of an early access phase, Ready or Not version 1.0 has finally been released. The tactical shooter is reminiscent of classics such as SWAT 4 and thanks to Unreal Engine, it has some stunning visuals to offer, too.

...provided you can get it at MSRP. Colorful is pitching the EVOL X15 AT 23 as a viable alternative to some of the other prominent gaming laptops out there. While the EVOL X15 AT's use of the Intel Core i7-13700HX and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU makes it a capable QHD 60 fps gamer, Colorful has contend with concessions in several key areas in order to keep the official price under $1,000.

Creative gaming concept. The Finals brings a breath of fresh air to the multiplayer shooter genre. We have taken a look at the tech and graphics requirements of this exciting game.

An RTX 3080 Ti for US$1,500. Aorus has made use of a last-gen CPU and GPU in order to market the ex-flagship RTX 3080 Ti for a price of only US$1,500. In turn, the laptop's case and connectivity are actually quite modern. Will you have to make any further compromises for the price, or is the Aorus YE5 a real high-end hidden gem for money savers?

Loud and proud. The Geekom Mini IT13 is the latest SFF desktop from Geekom. It sports powerful 13th Gen Intel Core processors, all the way up to an Intel Core i9-13900H. While the desktop packs a wallop, the high-end CPU requires the fan to consistently spin at high (and loud) speeds.

CPU, GPU and now NPU At least since the Pixel 6, co-processors for AI applications have found their way onto smartphones. Now the neural network accelerators can also be found on Windows laptops such as the Acer Swift Go 14 with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. This is one of the first laptop processors with an NPU.

Core i7 is now Core Ultra 7. Intel drops the familiar naming scheme for the new Meteor Lake generation and the latest mobile processors are called Core Ultra from now on. Intel promises a big performance increase for the new Arc GPU as well as increased efficiency, which we tested.

The Reader. The InkPad Color 3 has an e-ink color display and supports borrowing e-books from libraries. Thanks to the speaker and Bluetooth you can also play audiobooks. However, the proprietary software makes the e-reader somewhat inflexible.

Similar gaming performance to Apple M3 Pro. RDNA2 isn't necessarily bad for an entry-level Radeon GPU, but it's getting long in the tooth and difficult to recommend at such a high $1600+ price tag. The fast Ryzen 9 Pro Zen 4 CPU and 4K OLED touchscreen are otherwise highlights for the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 model.

Compact and practical? At just 7 inches, the Onyx Boox Page is a very handy e-reader that uses Android as its operating system. Reading on the display is really fun, but can you also use other apps on a black and white display with a slow response time?

Office worker. HP's business laptop boasts low emissions, long runtimes, two RAM slots and nice input devices. Thanks to its GeForce RTX 2050, the device is also equipped for GPU-demanding tasks. Prices begin from about US$750.

The biggest step since the M1. Apple has made big changes to its new M3 Pro and M3 Max chips and for the first time, the the M3 Max not only offers considerably more GPU performance compared to the M3 Pro, but it also features a much faster CPU. This is in part due to its new core configuration. But what does the new SoC's efficiency look like?

Powerful gaming cube! With the Tank 03, Acemagic offers a very special mini PC in its portfolio that stands out with a huge performance packed into the smallest amount of space. At least, this is what is promised by the technical specifications.
