Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike haptic gaming mouse launches with boosted battery life

Despite its predecessor releasing earlier in 2026, the Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike debut is imminent. The manufacturer made incremental upgrades rather than reinventing the haptic feedback gaming mouse. Still, buyers can expect a more precise Hero 2 sensor and an extended 135-hour battery life.

The Pro X3 Superstrike should begin shipping by October 6th. Sold in black and black/magenta colorways, the Logitech mouse has an MSRP of $199.99/€189.99.

Haptics return

The company hopes to lure supporters of rivals like Razer with its Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). While haptic feedback is most common in controllers, some Pro X2 Superstrike owners find it more than a gimmick. Instead of traditional microswitch responses, the peripheral pulses when it reaches a customized actuation point.

Players can choose from 10 actuation and 6 intensity levels for the vibrating feedback. With rapid trigger, 5 selectable reset points reduce button travel in the gaming mouse. Faster clicks are the goal, although only esports pros may have the finesse and reaction time to maximize its benefits.

The refined Hero 2 optical sensor now boasts up to 48,000 DPI. Compared to the existing model, Logitech lists a marginally higher maximum acceleration of 90G and speed of 930 IPS.

Using the included dongle, an 8000 Hz wireless polling rate becomes realistic. Unfortunately, Bluetooth connectivity is once again not an option. Even so, the manufacturer says a more efficient sensor improves battery life. Up 45 hours from the X2, the 135-hour capacity mitigates some of the impact of haptics.

Is the Superstrike superlight?

Buyers hoping for a smaller or lighter gaming mouse will be disappointed. The Pro X3 Superstrike maintains its familiar symmetrical shape with identical dimensions. Logitech claims it tweaked the weight balance, focusing on the sensor housing. Curiously, the European variety weighs 61 grams, 2 grams heavier than the global version.

Joining the Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike is the new 400 mm x 460 mm Pro X Control gaming mouse pad. The 6 mm thick material has a knitted cloth texture for controlled gliding. Alternatively, the X3 is also compatible with Powerplay pads for charging while competing.
