Pwnage Vanta is the world’s first gaming mouse with mechanically adjustable click geometry

Gaming peripheral maker Pwnage has revealed its new lightweight wireless gaming mouse, the Vanta, with what it’s calling the world’s first mechanically tunable click geometry. While the Logitech G Pro X Superstrike offers adjustable actuation through magnetic sensors, the Pwnage Vanta requires a small screwdriver.

In a video posted on the Pwnage YouTube channel a couple of weeks ago, the company explained how the manual tuning works and how it changes the click geometry. Called the Vantage Click System, one mechanical adjustment changes the click force, pre-travel, actuation distance, force curve, and return feel. This adjustment is made through the screws accessible through the top of the perforated shell. And the left and right clicks can be tuned independently.

This means changing the Pwnage Vanta’s click geometry doesn’t affect battery life, latency, or power consumption. Moreover, the Vanta also allows changing the position of the XERO (PixArt x Pwnage Custom Tuned PAW3950) sensor as well based on the grip style. Of course, it is capable of 8K polling through a 2.4 GHz wireless connection.

The magnesium chassis allows the Vanta to be only 49 grams without any flexing. It is a symmetrical mouse available in four color options and three skate options.

Pwnage Vanta is now available for pre-order via the website, and it is priced at $159 for the black, white, and platinum colors. The Nacho color variant is $169. White PTFE skates are included, but there is an option to have glass black or glass black + red skates for $20 extra. Pwnage says shipping will start on September 28.
