Xiaomi announces new wireless gaming mouse with flagship PixArt sensor

Xiaomi has introduced a new gaming mouse, the Gaming Mouse 2. A lot of the details are still under wraps, but the company has confirmed that it will feature the PixArt PAW3955XM.
This is likely a different iteration of the sensor found in some of the recently released flagship mice, like the ones in the Ajazz AJ159 series. Xiaomi didn't confirm the MCU of its new wireless gaming mouse, but support for an 8kHz polling rate does seem plausible.
The company did, however, share that the mouse will feature 1% DPI factory calibration and have support for up to 4,000DPI. Its tracking speed is at 750IPS, and the sensor can take over 20,000FPS tracking samples per second. This sensor's 60G acceleration should also lead to precise tracking during rapid flicks and other sudden movement changes.
With a previous teaser, Xiaomi gave a glimpse of the wireless gaming mouse. While the picture didn't give out much, the overall shape doesn't seem to be much different than the competing mice (Logitech Pro X Superlight 2c curr. $112.49 on Amazon). It's also unclear when this upgraded model will launch, but as the company has already shared multiple teasers, the full unveiling is likely around the corner.
