A leak has revealed promotional images of a new Logitech mouse. The upcoming mouse unfolds into an arc like the Microsoft Surface Arc mouse when in use, and completely folds flat when not in use.

Logitech has a plethora of mice in different shapes, sizes, and price categories, but an upcoming mouse that has leaked, not only has a familiar design, but an interesting feature.

Details of this new mouse, which is currently referred to as the Logitech Ultra-Portable Mouse, was first reported by Winfuture. According to images shared by the source, the new Logitech mouse has a design similar to that of the Microsoft Surface Arc Mouse .

However, unlike the Surface Arc Mouse that powers down when flattened and powers on when snapped into an arc, the Logitech mouse folds completely like a clamshell phone when not in use, thus making it more portable. When in use, it unfolds into an arc. The middle part of the mouse that folds also has a ribbed design and isn't smooth like that of the Surface Arc.

Another feature of Logitech's mouse is its lack of a scroll wheel. This isn't unusual considering the Surface Arc also doesn't have a scroll wheel, but supports vertical and horizontal scrolling. However, the difference between Logitech's mouse is that the area for touch scrolling is segmented unlike that of the Surface Arc which is just one flat area. Logitech calls it Adaptive Touch Scrolling, and a similar feature is available on the Dell MS700 Bluetooth Mouse (available on Amazon for $31.63). This segmented design also makes it easy to identify the left and right mouse click buttons.

The Logitech Mouse folds completely flat.

Other details provided in the leak include support for multiple operating systems, support for Bluetooth Multipoint (up to three devices), and the mouse's support for both left- and right-handed users. Logitech also claims that compared to a laptop's trackpad, users will experience 22% less muscle strain with the mouse. Unfortunately, no details about its technical specifications, price, and release date have been revealed yet.
