Audio magic on the go. The HELM Audio DB12 AAAMP portable amp is a well-built and compact solution for Hi-Fi headphones. However, at US$180, the prohibitive cost will price out all but the most dedicated audiophiles.

Affordable entry. The current entry-level model from Samsung's Galaxy A series is the A02s. For barely 165 Euros (~$197), the manufacturer includes a triple camera system and a quite large battery. However, there are a lot of competitors, including other inhouse models, and there are also some really basic problems.

Classic upgrade. The Momentum 3 Wireless cannot deny its origins and has the concise design of its predecessor, but this has now been freshened up a bit. The interfaces are also modernized, but Sennheiser could have been a bit more generous with the audio codecs.

Great convertible, aging processor. Like the HP Dragonfly or Spectre series, the EliteBook x360 1040 G7 is one of the sleekest laptops for its size and category. Internally, however, the old Intel 10th gen Comet Lake-U processor is holding back the system from performing as well as most of the latest Ultrabooks in the market.

Unfortunately, our test left us somewhat disappointed due to the rather inefficient CPU.

The Auzai checks a lot of desirable boxes including 1440p native resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, fast response times, attractive narrow bezel design, and FreeSync support for under $300 USD. Actual display quality, however, is average at best or poor at worst when compared to most mid-range IPS gaming laptops and other pricier gaming monitors.

Display hero. Gigabyte's Aero-15 lineup consists of stylish multimedia laptops that also have enough performance resources for 3D applications. Our model has a 4K OLED display that already looks impressive at first glance. A laptop GeForce RTX 3070 provides the necessary graphics power.

The Movo UM700 USB desktop microphone offers all of the major features of other high-end USB microphones in a less expensive package. However, the UM700 has similar drawbacks that affect future upgrades to a recording setup.

More high-end. Samsung's Galaxy S21+ flagship smartphone offers all the equipment characteristics that also distinguish the excellent Galaxy S21. But the plus sign in the product label also means that you can expect even more here. And indeed, the Galaxy S21+ delivers: for an additional 200 Euros (~$242), you get a significantly larger display and a noticeably larger battery, among other things.

High achiever. Mobvoi's TicWatch Pro 3 GPS and Pro 3 LTE (also with GPS) are still the only wearables with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4100 that we know of during the test period. Purple violet. Patterned displays, colorful cases, and slim watchbands: The Garmin Lily should be attractive to all those for whom the typical smartwatches are too large and dark. The new S class. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the smallest and least expensive of the three new Galaxy S21 models and should be the obvious choice for most users. The 6.2-inch device lacks a few features of the more expensive Galaxy S21 models, but that doesn't change its high-end quality: The performance, display, and camera are great, and the price is even lower than that of the Galaxy S20.

This is reason enough to take a closer look at Xiaomi's 5G smartphone.

Wolf in sheep's clothing. The Asus Flow X13 is an ultra-compact 13-inch convertible with a high-resolution display. High power, high noise level.
