Even before iPad debuts, there are rumors of various iPad alternatives, banking on the stuffs iPad lacks. New member of this bandwagon is the latest Android Tablet called WePad – rather wittily! The Neofonie WePad is an 11.6-inch Tablet with a resolution of up to 1366 x 768 pixels, powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor accompanied by a GMA 3150 graphics card, webcam, two USB ports, flash card reader, UMTS modem, and a promised six hours of battery life.
The WePad scores in terms of software also. It has its own apps store and plans to use the Android marketplace in future. They has also created the “WeMagazine publishing econsystem” which is a turn-key option that is supposed to allow users to get their own branded devices out onto the e-reader market.
