Miyoo Mini A30: New pocketable gaming handheld officially released for $50 in four colours
Miyoo has now officially released the Mini A30, only a day after Keep Retro started selling the same gaming handheld. To recap, the Mini A30 comes with an Allwinner A33 chipset that features four ARM Cortex-A7 CPU cores and a Mali-400 MP2 GPU. Theoretically, Miyoo's chipset should mean that the Mini A30 is less powerful than the RG28XX, which Anbernic also released today.
Likewise, the Mini A30 has 512 MB RAM, half as much as Anbernic pre-installs in the RG28XX. Nonetheless, Miyoo insists that the Mini A30 is powerful enough to emulate up to Game Boy Advance, PlayStation and Nintendo 64 games. Incidentally, evidence of the latter has already been demonstrated online, which we have covered separately.
Moreover, the Mini A30 has a 2.8-inch IPS display that outputs at 640 x 480 pixels, just like the RG28XX and forthcoming MagicX XU Mini M. However, it is worth noting that the Mini A30 has a 2,600 mAh battery, 100 mAh more than Keep Retro claimed. Currently, Miyoo is selling the Mini A30 for $49.33 on AliExpress, with shipments set for between May 10 and May 14. Please see Miyoo's AliExpress listing for more details.
