Acer introduced the new Acer Swift Go 14 for 2024 late last year with Intel Meteor Lake processors. The laptop, which the company also offers with the AMD Ryzen 8000 processors, packs either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with 32 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 14-inch OLED display with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution. 

A high-end configuration of the Acer Swift Go 14 with a Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage can now be yours for only $799.99 on Amazon. According to camelcamelcamel, this is a record-low rate for the laptop which has a retail price of $999.99.

$799.99 seems to be an excellent price for the Acer Swift Go 14, as the laptop displayed solid fundamentals in our review.

Starting with the chassis, the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-72) rocks a well-built aluminum case weighing 1.33 kg (2.94 lbs). The casing incorporates a large touchpad, two Type-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a single HDMI out, one microSD reader, and a 3.5 mm combo jack.

The front of the laptop is dominated by the 14-inch OLED panel which, in our testing, delivered 391 nits of average brightness, inky deep blacks, and full sRGB coverage. The display also goes one step further with 98.5% AdobeRGB and 99.75% DCI-P3 coverage. In other words, the Acer Swift Go 14 should be a treat for media watchers.

When it comes to performance, the Core Ultra 7 155H ensured speedy operation in both day-to-day and demanding tasks with an 80.6 pt CPU performance rating. Additionally, the Arc iGPU proved to be a huge improvement over previous Intel efforts, allowing the Acer Swift Go 14 to play modern titles with reduced visuals. For instance, the laptop ran Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty at 34 FPS at FHD/low without any upscaling. As we've noted in the past, turning on XeSS in supported titles should produce an even better experience.

Finally, the Acer Swift Go 14 (2024) battery life stood at 8 hours in our Wi-Fi websurfing test which is a respectable result considering the demanding OLED panel.

Long story short, if you are after a portable multimedia laptop with good performance, an excellent display, and ok battery life, the Acer Swift Go 14 for only $799.99 should be on your radar.
