This new netbook has typical netbook specs and a touch of glamor

Smartbook AG has reportedly introduced a new smartbook. The ZENiD GC Crystal is a limited edition ultra-portable notebook that, however, comes at a price.

To be more specific, this new product is priced at 2,001 Euros which is nearly $3,000 USD. This smartbook is powered by Intel’s Atom N280 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz and is equipped with a 10.2-inch 1024-by-600 LED display.

The ZENiD GC Crystal also houses 2GB of memory, a spacious 320GB mechanical hard drive and shared VGA. This smartbook sports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity, two USB 2.0 and one VGA ports and a card reader slot.

This new product, which weighs 1.4kg (≈3.09lb), costs basically 299 Euros or approximately $446 USD.

Allegedly, the limited edition devices come at a much higher price because their frontcover is made with CRYSTALLIZED™ Swarowski Elements. Reportedly, they also ship with a 750ml bottle of Champagne Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial »Be fabulous Gold«.
