Released on Steam on February 25, 2016, Grim Dawn is an action RPG set in the fantasy world of Cairn, where humanity is nearing its end. As a player, you must help rebuild this world and enable humanity to thrive again.

Developed and published by the American studio Crate Entertainment, the base game offers six classes, and you can combine two of them once you reach level 10. More than 250 skills are available by collecting items or accessories during your adventure. In addition, you can also create unique items using a crafting system, allowing you to get better stats.

But be careful, because saving humanity won't be easy. Indeed, you will have to face more than 200 different heroes, each with their own arsenal, and explore numerous dungeons where bosses await you.

Many players compare it to Diablo and Path of Exile, and appreciate its gameplay, level design, and varied exploration. It also offers great creativity and can be replayed many times. 

However, there are numerous bugs to report. It is also a complex game that can be very difficult to understand, and some features are not particularly well-liked. Finally, while it is currently available for $2.49 instead of $24.99 until March 26, 2026, according to SteamDB, it had already reached this price on December 19, 2024, during a 90% discount.
