The story takes place in a fantasy world where the gods have decided to take revenge on humanity by unleashing a great Desolation. Thus, you embody a lone warrior and embark on a quest to find the Ancient Gods, confront them, and defeat them. You’ll have to navigate through narrow passages and encounter NPCs who will give you quests. 

However, Eldest Souls features Soulslike combat, and every boss battle will be a massive challenge. Indeed, you will have to use all your skills and adapt your fighting style to defeat them. And once you’ve defeated a god, you can obtain its celestial power, which grants significant strength.
