Deal | Less than $1: Critically acclaimed ARPG hits lowest-ever price on Steam

Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. Released in October 2010, the game is set in 2281 in the Mojave Wasteland, the ruins of what was once Las Vegas. Players control a courier who survives a gunshot to the head and becomes central to a conflict over Hoover Dam involving the New California Republic, Caesar’s Legion, and the mysterious Mr. House.
The open-world action role-playing game uses the Gamebryo engine and features the classic SPECIAL attribute system, 13 skills, and a wide range of perks. Combat can be handled in real time with iron sights or through the pause-based VATS targeting system. An optional hardcore mode introduces hunger, thirst, sleep requirements, and permanent companion death. Reputation with dozens of factions affects dialogue options and story outcomes, leading to multiple endings.
Six DLCs were released between 2010 and 2011, including the four story expansions: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. The title received a Metacritic score of 84 on PC, with praise for its writing, player agency, and quest depth despite launch bugs.
Fallout: New Vegas has sold more than 10 million copies. On Steam, it typically records 2,500 to 8,000 concurrent players. Nearly 16 years after launch, it continues to attract new and returning players through its replayability and extensive mod support.
Currently, the game has received over 254,000 reviews, with 96% of these reviews being positive. At the current Steam Spring Sale price of $0.99, Fallout: New Vegas is drawing the attention ARPG fans.
