Developed by Odinsoft Inc. and published by Twin Sails Interactive, Survival: Fountain of Youth is an open-world survival game inspired by the Age of Discovery. You play as a 16th-century explorer shipwrecked on wild islands, and you must build shelters and find resources to survive.

In total, there are 11 islands to explore, each with unique challenges. Indeed, they have different environments and weather conditions. In addition, each island also has its own dangers, such as wild animals that won’t hesitate to attack you or diseases.

As you progress through your adventure, you’ll be able to gather resources and upgrade your shelters. Several buildings are available, such as a forge, a workshop, and fields, and you can also craft more than a hundred items, including weapons and armor. But that’s not all, because you’ll also uncover the secrets of a lost civilization.

Released on May 21, 2024, on Steam, Survival: Fountain of Youth has received numerous positive reviews, with 85% positive ratings out of more than 4,260 reviews. However, on Metacritic, its Metascore is 74 and its user score is 7.6. As a result, while players appreciate the game’s story and certain mechanics, they criticize the menus and some features. Indeed, the interface is not easy to use, and performing actions breaks the game’s rhythm, as players must navigate through a menu to execute them. 

However, Survival: Fountain of Youth is currently 65% off on Steam and available for $9.79 until April 9, 2026, according to SteamDB. After that date, it will return to its original price of $27.99. And it should be noted that this price was already reached with the same discount on January 22, 2026.
