It offers excellent gaming performance and impresses with its support for DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation (MFG), which ensures smoother frame rates, especially when running demanding titles. In direct comparison to the AMD Radeon RX 9070, the RTX 5070 is slightly slower in some scenarios, but it remains the better choice for users who don't want to do without Nvidia's technologies.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 offers excellent value for money, particularly within the price range of up to $700, and is an excellent option for anyone who doesn't want to compromise on graphics quality. The surcharge compared to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB is justified, as this is reflected in its performance. The GeForce RTX 5070's 12 GB VRAM is sufficient, but represents the minimum that should be expected in this performance class. The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC is based on the new GB205 chip and joins Nvidia's Blackwell generation as a powerful mid-range GPU. It has adopted lots of the features of the larger models, such as the latest generation of DLSS and the innovative Multi Frame Generation (MFG), but offers them with adapted performance and efficiency. Compared to the RTX 5070 Ti, it differs primarily in its fewer shader units, less video memory and lower memory bandwidth.
Nevertheless, with its 12 GB VRAM, it's ideally equipped for the latest games and creative applications. Thanks to its Blackwell architecture, a wide range of games will benefit from AI-supported performance improvements. The MFG technology can be activated via the Nvidia app—even in games without native support, and according to Nvidia without any loss of performance.

First impression and build
The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC boasts a modern look and solid build. The manufacturer has gone for plastic on the front, while an aluminum backplate provides additional stability and improved heat dissipation. Its striking design is complemented by subtle RGB lighting, which can be individually adjusted. Plus, there's a small switch on the graphics card to deactivate the lighting entirely. Two fans are used to cool the graphics card, which appear comparatively small in relation to its power consumption. With a length of around 25 centimeters, the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC is one of the more compact representatives of its performance class. Thanks to its slim 2-slot design, neighboring PCIe slots remain free. This makes it a good choice for PC systems with limited space.
Its scope of delivery is rather limited: In addition to the graphics card itself, buyers only get a power adapter (2x8-pin PCIe to 12V 2x6). Additional accessories, such as a GPU stand or RGB cables, are not included.

The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC uses the Blackwell generation and features technical innovations such as DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation (MFG) for smoother frame rates and more realistic visuals. It's equipped with 6,144 CUDA cores and 12 GB GDDR7 RAM with a bandwidth of 672 GB/s. There are only minor technical differences compared to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. Its VRAM continues to be 12 GB, which is still sufficient for its intended purpose.
Xtreme Tuner Plus - KFA2 Tuning Utility, mobile app and 1-Click OC
The KFA2 "Xtreme Tuner" tool gives users extensive options for customizing their graphics card: Clock rates can be adjusted manually, the power target can be increased to up to 280 watts and the RGB lighting can be controlled individually. Smartphone control is particularly practical, allowing settings to be made conveniently on the move—ideal for fine adjustments during operation. The connection is set up easily using a QR code; the only requirement is that the PC and smartphone are on the same network. The 1-Click-OC function increases its clock rate by 15 MHz, but only offers a minimal increase in performance and remains more of a marketing gimmick.
Testing conditions
We used ann AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D on an Asrock X870E Taichi motherboard for this test. The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC was operated in its factory settings—neither its maximum power consumption nor its clock rates were adjusted.
Synthetic benchmarks - On par with the AMD RX 9000
The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC's synthetic benchmarks attest to the card's respectable performance. Our test sample won the direct comparison with the predecessor model with a plus of around 25 percent. Compared to the competition—especially in the duel with current AMD Radeon RX 9000 models—the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC came on average exactly between the two models from the red camp. Compared to the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, you'll have to reckon with a gap of around 20 percent.

WIth regards to performance, the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC came clearly behind the RTX 5080 but remained within striking distance of the 5070 Ti, with a gap of just over ten percent separating the two. During SPECviewperf 2020, it achieved good results and proved to be a powerful all-round card for semi-professional workloads in a wide range of scenarios. In the SPECworkstation 4.0 test, the results were closer together overall, with AMD's GPUs taking the lead in specific supported tests.

DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation (MFG)
In terms of pure raster performance, the Blackwell architecture in combination with the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC only showed slight progress compared to Ada Lovelace. However, DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation (MFG) provide a significant fps boost, especially in supported games. This means that even demanding titles can be displayed smoothly in 4K—provided that modern upscaling technologies are used. In direct comparison to the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, however, the non-Ti model is clearly lagging behind. A performance deficit of 30 to 40 percent has to be factored in. Compared to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC delivers around 20 percent more performance, depending on the game in question.

Emissions - Good cooling, but audible under load
Noise emissions
KFA2 has equipped its GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC with a comparatively compact cooling system comprising of two axial fans. In 2D mode, the fan-stop mode ensures silent operation. Under average load, we measured a sound pressure level of 35.7 dB(A), and just over 47 dB(A) during the stress test. We noted some slight coil whining, but the fan noise was louder than this under load. Compared to other models, the KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC is clearly audible.

Temperature
The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC's cooling concept is powerful enough to dissipate the approximately 250 watts of waste heat under full load, although KFA2 has only gone for a compact cooling solution. Unfortunately, this has an impact on its operating noise under load. However, the temperatures show that the graphics card isn't operating at its thermal limit. You can manually adjust the fan speed, which would mean quieter operation as long as you are willing to accept slightly higher temperatures.

Energy management - 250 watts aren't always reached
The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC works efficiently. Still, with the exception of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, all other models in the Blackwell series are more frugal. The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC has a performance advantage over the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, with its higher power consumption of 250 watts (RTX 4070: 200 watts). In our measurements, on the other hand, we only saw a small increase in power consumption.
For stable operation, KFA2 recommends a power supply unit that can supply at least 650 watts, ideally with a native 12 V 2x6 connection. Alternatively, you can use the supplied adapter (2x8-pin PCIe to 12 V 2x6).

The KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC delivers solid performance for WQHD gaming. DLSS 4 and Frame Generation provide additional fps boosts. With 12 GB VRAM, it is future-proof—but we can only recommended it to a limited extent in 4K. Overall, a strong all-rounder for demanding gamers.
