The Ninkear M7 presents itself in the test as an inexpensive yet high-quality mini PC. The housing is made entirely of aluminum and impresses with its sturdy construction, high-quality feel, and simple, unobtrusive design, which blends in well in various working environments. Inside is the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U, an economical 6-core processor that delivers sufficient performance for typical office applications, multimedia use, and light multitasking. However, the APU quickly reaches its limits with more demanding tasks such as image or video editing. A stronger RAM configuration in dual-channel mode could provide a performance boost here. The integrated Radeon RX Vega 7 is suitable for simple graphics tasks and masters everyday office work without any problems. The low-energy consumption and quiet cooling are positive features, making the Ninkear M7 ideal for continuous operation in the office or home office.
Users have to accept compromises when it comes to connectivity. Modern interfaces such as USB4 or OCuLink are not available, but the existing ports cover the most important everyday requirements and allow up to three displays to be operated simultaneously. With its solid features, compact design, and attractive price range of around 320 to 350 euros, the Ninkear M7 offers a good overall package. System performance
In operation, the Ninkear M7 proves to be a reliable mini PC as long as the requirements remain within normal limits. For the most part, the system copes with everyday tasks without any problems. However, due to the one-sided RAM configuration, performance remains unused, which can be improved with an additional RAM module.

Graphics card and gaming performance
The AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 installed in the Ninkear M7 handles the graphics output, but is also dependent on the RAM configuration. The performance can be increased slightly with an additional RAM module, but it is still not sufficient for demanding 3D games. The mini PC is clearly designed for office applications. However, the Vega 7 delivers sufficient performance for everyday graphics tasks and the playback of HD content, meaning that a separate graphics card is not required.

Emissions
The Ninkear M7 is energy-efficient overall, although the power consumption in idle mode is higher than that of comparable models. Under load, the casing heats up noticeably, which is also due to the all-aluminum construction. The processor reaches temperatures of almost 80 °C before the power consumption is reduced to 15 watts. The cooling unit has no problems cooling the SoC reliably. With a maximum noise level of 34.3 dB(A), the Ninkear M7 is one of the quietest devices in this comparison.

The high-quality aluminum housing and quiet cooling are positive features. Weaknesses are revealed in the RAM configuration, which limits the CPU and GPU performance, but can be remedied with an additional RAM module.
