Nvidia GeForce 9650M GT
Zepto just presented the new Nvidia GeForce 9650M GT graphics adapter in their Centrino 2 laptops Nox, Mythos, and Nexus.

The Nvidia GeForce 9650M GT is produced in 55 nm and technically just a higher clocked 9600M GT. Therefore, it fills the small gap between 9600M GT and 9700M GT. Because of the 55 nm process (9600M GT is still produced in 65nm) the current consumption stays the same. The higher clock speed should lead to about 20% more performance (in 3DMark06: 6000 instead of 5000 points with the 9600M GT). The new mobile graphics card can be ordered in the Zepto Nox, Mythos, and Nexus for 52,31 Euro (about $ 82). Shipping should be in the middle of September according to Zepto.
Furthermore, Zepto offers an upgrade for existing customers of these notebooks (because the card is delivered for a MXM slot). The upgrade should amount to 175 Euro (about $ 275) excluding assembly costs.
