Previous clues about the model names of the potential Xiaomi Mix Flip alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 (available here on Amazon) or the Galaxy Z Flip6 had already indicated that there will also be a global model. Shortly after, a Chinese leaker recently shared a few details about the appearance of the first Xiaomi Flip phone, codenamed "Ruyi".
Now more details have emerged - this time based on information from Xiaomi itself, which is hidden in the HyperOS code. According to a report from Android Headlines, all three of the camera sensors available in the Xiaomi Mix Flip have been identified. Behind the main camera is a Light Hunter 800 sensor (OVX8000), which is based on the Omnivision OVE50E and features 50 megapixels on a 1/1.55-inch sensor and can also be found in the Redmi K70 Pro.

Xiaomi Mix Flip with telephoto instead of ultra-wide angle
In contrast to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip series, the latest leak confirms rumors that Xiaomi could do without an ultra-wide angle in its dual cam and instead install a 2x telephoto. The second camera is therefore an Omnivision OV60A with 60 megapixels and a 1/2.8 inch size, which is explicitly listed in the code as a telephoto camera and is already used in the Motorola Edge 40 Pro or Edge 30 Ultra. The selfie camera also uses Omnivision technology, namely the OV32 32-megapixel sensor, which is also installed in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra or the Motorola Edge 40, for example.
In addition to the cover screen, which can be used as a viewfinder for selfies or for displaying notifications, there is, of course, also a flexible AMOLED panel on the inside. According to the code leak, this should offer a 1.5K resolution with a pixel density of 520 ppi. It is not yet clear when Xiaomi will launch the Mix Flip in China and globally: according to the model numbers 2405CPX3DG and 2405CPX3DC, this can happen in May at the earliest.
