After the second trailer for GTA 6 in early May, Rockstar has gone silent with no updates on the game. Some would say that’s good news as its better to have no communication than another delay announcement. Nonetheless, the rumor mill has been churning, and fans have been busy collecting every bit of information they can from whatever is out there. One such fan has shared an interactive map for the game that has quite a lot of detail and polish.
Shared on the GTA 6 subreddit, user named kalterapfel123 has been working on the interactive GTA 6 map for several weeks. He has now moved the map to a dedicated domain to make it more easily accessible. Being an interactive map of Vice City and Leonida State (the regions in GTA 6), it has a search function, location markers, and references to the two trailers and several screenshots for accuracy. As mentioned earlier, kalterapfel123 has used information from the two trailers and added content for other landmarks, some that have been confirmed as well as some others that have not.
It is evident that a lot of work has gone into the map that has in-games names of buildings, areas, real world names and locations corresponding to the in-game locations, roads, highways, airports, and more. The level of detail is something to be appreciated so kudos to kalterapfel123.
As for how accurate the map actually is, can be difficult to judge at this point. Rockstar has not shared any information on it and it is also likely that the company will try to take it down, seeing as how it can be a spoiler for the game. That’s how the Reddit post has been tagged anyway.
GTA 6 will release on May 26, 2026 and it is expected to be the biggest game ever, bringing in $7.6 billion just 60 days after release. There is a lot of excitement around the game and the Trailer 2 from May is currently sitting at over 125 million views just on YouTube (linked below). Said trailer has been recreated with LEGO and also in GTA V, the latter being a hilarious take on Jason and Lucia.
