Rockstar leaks GTA 6 map with Collector's Edition pre-order, exposing Leonida locations

As part of the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, Rockstar bundles a dual-sided poster. The back of the print offers a glimpse of a GTA 6 map included with the pricey Collector’s Edition. However, before replacing the image, the company leaked unannounced Leonida locales.

Buyers who pre-order the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition can use the poster to “Plan a road trip to every corner of the Goodtime State.” Lacking labels like those seen in the first version, it wouldn’t be as useful. Redditors noticed that the edge of the photo showed destinations called Sandbars and Crude Islands.

In the top and bottom portions, fans also spotted mysterious locations starting with “Dra” and “Beld.” It’s debatable what the latter name is, but the former appears in the community GTA 6 map project. The resource found references to Draper Island in publicly available footage of Port Gellhorn.

More GTA 6 secrecy

After the revision, Rockstar erased the labels for all four sites. It’s unclear why they made the change, given the leak provides little insight into the release date build. The studio may plan to highlight these locations in future marketing ahead of the game’s launch.

At first glance, the Vice City Collection poster and the State of Leonida project seem to differ. The unofficial website is based on trailers, screenshots, and the infamous Cyberleek map leak. Still, while the islands have different shapes, it’s likely just the product of a cartoonish art style.

To possess a physical chart of Leonida, buyers may have to pay a steep price. The Collector’s Edition pre-order, which is more like a Collector’s Box without the game, costs $399.99. Some fans anticipated, as with GTA 5 and both Red Dead Redemption entries, that the $79.99 Standard Edition would include the bonus. Rockstar hasn’t specified what, if any, extras come inside Xbox and PS5 cases.
