GTA 6: This macabre detail in new screenshots is drawing attention

Following the Extended Look, Rockstar has followed up with 23 new screenshots from GTA 6, showing various locations as well as Jason and Lucia in different situations. The images are being extremely well received by the community. The graphics in particular are drawing praise on Reddit. Comments such as “amazing” and “truly next-gen” can be found throughout the thread. And it is not just the overall visuals or the high level of detail that have fans impressed.
Reddit user u/terpfi3nd_genetics, for example, highlights the lighting, which repeatedly caught their eye during the Extended Look. The characters' eyes are also being praised for their lifelike appearance. One fan from Miami, meanwhile, is impressed by how authentically Rockstar has recreated their hometown. A scene featuring a purple sky, neon lights and illuminated palm trees even sent a shiver down their spine. However, some users doubt that GTA 6 will actually maintain this level of visual quality throughout on a standard PS5.
An alligator as a punching bag
While most of the discussion revolves around the impressive graphics, one rather macabre sight stands out among the many smaller details: In one of the new screenshots, an alligator is hanging from the ceiling – apparently being used as an improvised punching bag.
The sight fits rather well with the exaggerated version of Florida that Rockstar is creating with Leonida, but it is still drawing surprised reactions even from GTA fans. Reddit user u/Salt_Scientist_6754 describes the alligator punching bag as pretty disturbing, but immediately adds that it fits the game perfectly. Whether players will actually be able to interact with the unusual piece of training equipment in GTA 6 (available for pre-order on Amazon) or whether it is merely a bizarre background detail remains to be seen.
