In feudal Japan, your goal is to build villages and expand them with the help of your citizens. But while this open world is full of riches, it is also filled with dangers that you’ll need to overcome with the help of various weapons.

Building villages, developing your community, and shaping the open world around you are what Sengoku Dynasty is all about. Available for the first time for $13.86, you'll be immersed in feudal Japan, where you'll need to establish your own dynasty.

You'll start by building your house and crafting basic tools using resources found in the environment. Along the way, as you construct new buildings, villagers will settle in your settlements. To help them contribute to your expansion, you can teach them various jobs.

But the Nata Valley is torn apart by war. As a result, you’ll have to try to reunify it by freeing territories conquered by rogue samurai, using various weapons and skills. In addition, by restoring infrastructure, you’ll be able to obtain valuable resources. Your dynasty and its future will depend on your choices, your actions, and your marriages, whether you play solo or in co-op mode with up to four players.

With 74% positive reviews out of 7,801 ratings from players, Sengoku Dynasty is rated “Mostly Positive” on Steam. Its gameplay is one of its strengths, particularly because it suits different playstyles.

Combat is complex, as each weapon has its own characteristics. But while Superkami’s work has been praised, other players have mentioned performance and optimization issues, particularly near the end of the game. Some bugs have also been reported. Finally, according to SteamDB, this 50% discount ends on September 7, 2026, and the price will return to $27.73.
