Huge 192 GB Rockstar leak lands two months before GTA 6, but it has little to do with GTA 6

Rockstar Games is on track to release GTA 6 in two months from now.
A 192 GB Rockstar leak has surfaced, apparently the full GTA 5 source code archive. It shows a far bigger Liberty City for the cancelled Liberty V DLC, Agent Trevor mission names, beta cars and possible early GTA 6 map assets, all still unverified.

A roughly 192 GB cache of internal Rockstar Games files surfaced online on September 18. As of writing, dataminers are already going through it. The archive looks to be the full version of the GTA 5 source code leak from December 2023. That earlier drop was around 4 GB and was mostly code, though a far larger archive had been rumored ever since.

Most of what has leaked so far concerns GTA 5. YouTuber TJGM shared an outline of the Liberty City map built for LibertyV, a single-player expansion Rockstar cancelled. The outline is traced from shoreline audio zones, and it covers a much bigger area than the Liberty City in GTA 4. The DLC's name was already known from the 2023 leak. Its scale was not.

The Agent Trevor DLC gets a mention as well. A list shared by X user affmalyt names dozens of missions, grouped into CIA, Korean, Russian, Arab and Space arcs. Entries include an underwater sub-base attack and a mountain base jetpack mission. TJGM also posted interiors from it, including a spaceship, an Arab mansion and a huge underground area. Beta vehicles, among them the police car from the original GTA 5 trailer, and early dialog that was fully recorded round things out.

The GTA 6 side is much more scarce. There are files with names referencing "everglades" and "florida", which isn't a surprise anymore at this point. TJGM does mention, though, that this is not the full map and may just be LOD assets. X user Mattdek_ also shared what appear to be very early 3D models of GTA 6 regions, possibly built in GTA 5's engine before 2020. None of it has been independently verified, and some users argue that a lot of it is overlapping with the 2023 material.
