A number of Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 renders that look quite official have been leaked, along with cases and plenty of specs.
The details that have recently surfaced regarding Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8 range from camera specs of all three upcoming Samsung foldables to hints about charging speeds, accompanied by numerous official render images of the new Samsung devices in matching protective cases.

Samsung has not yet announced the date of their next Galaxy Unpacked event or provided any details about the successors to Galaxy Z Fold 7 (available here on Amazon US) and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Yet many people already seem to have a pretty good idea of what to expect on July 22, 2026. With just under three weeks to go before the launch, many specs and render images have now been leaked, some of which affirm previously mentioned hints about technical specifications or the design of the three new Samsung foldables. The images below are are said to be renders of official Samsung cases, but they also show the official designs of the new Galaxy foldables.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8

First up is the Galaxy Z Flip 8, which is expected to remain very similar to its predecessor in terms of both specs and design. As mentioned by the Korean publication Sisajournal, it will feature the exact same camera duo as its predecessor—a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Earlier leaks suggested a display with a less prominent crease including a hinge upgrade plus an Exynos 2600 in Europe or a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the U.S. and China. Otherwise, however, Samsung’s flip phone is unlikely to see many changes this time around. Meanwhile, Ice Universe confirms 45-watt fast charging for the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

What’s more exciting, though, is the new form factor of Samsungs iPhone Ultra competitor, which will likely be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 after all. Recently, packaging of alleged Samsung Kindsuit cases had suggested a “Galaxy New Fold” name, however more recent leaks have refuted that notion. According to Sisajournal leak out of Korea, the more compact and wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 will feature two 50-megapixel rear cameras, meaning it won’t inherit the 200-megapixel main camera with ISOCELL HP2 sensor from the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The two selfie cameras are said to each house 10-megapixel sensors. Once again, nothing dramatically new from Samsung.

According to @AhmedQwaider888 the ultra-wide-angle camera has an f/1.9 aperture, the wide-angle camera has an f/1.8 aperture and the front cameras each feature an f/2.2 aperture. Inside the foldable's slim 123.9 x 161.4 x 4.5 mm chassis, which weighs 201 grams, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy will be found. The QHD+ display on the inside measures 7.6 inches and has a 4:3 aspect ratio, while the 5.5-inch cover display also offers QHD+ resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, according to the leaker. Both displays are Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 4,800 mAh battery supports up to 45 watts of Fast Charging 2.0 as well as Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. In addition to a 12/256 GB entry-level configuration, 512 GB and 1 TB models will also be available.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

Last but not least, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 form factor is being replaced this year by the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra—even though Galaxy S26 Ultra features like 60-watt fast charging aren’t available here. According to Ice Universe, it will remain at 45 watts, though the display brightness will be increased to 3,600 nits. Earlier reports also suggeste  a higher display resolution. According to Sisajournal, Samsung is sticking with the 200-megapixel main camera and the 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, but the ultra-wide-angle camera is getting an upgrade to a 50-megapixel sensor from the previous 12 megapixel shooter of the Galaxy Z Fold7.
