Samsung: New ultra-premium foldable release prices revealed for UK market

Earlier today, Roland Quandt revealed Eurozone pricing information for Samsung's next foldable smartphones. As we discussed separately, the Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will start at €100 more in the Eurozone than last year's Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,339 - refurbished on Amazon), respectively.
Now, Quandt has elaborated on his earlier leak with starting prices for the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in the UK. Reportedly, it will be a similar story in the UK, with £200 separating the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
Writing on Bluesky, Quandt claims that the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will cost £1,699 and £1,899, with the Galaxy Z Flip8 dropping to £1,049. Allegedly, these prices include 256 GB of storage. However, we would not be surprised if Samsung ran introductory offers like doubling storage to 512 GB for free.
On the face of it, Samsung's naming would suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold8 costs £100 less than its predecessor. However, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to be the retail name of Samsung's long-rumoured smaller and wider foldable. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra serves to directly replace the Galaxy Z Fold7. As a result, it seems inevitable that Samsung will raise Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold prices globally rather than only in selected markets.
UK pricing for base models: Flip8 256GB = 1149,00 GBP Fold8 256GB = 1699,00 Fold8 Ultra 256GB = 1899 GBP
