Leak reveals higher prices for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8

The successors to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 ($635 on Amazon) and the Galaxy Z Fold7 are expected to be officially unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked launch event on Wednesday, July 22. After leaks over the past few months have already revealed the design and many details about the smartphones’ features, Winfuture managed to uncover the alleged final prices for Europe.
According to this information, the base models will each cost €100 more than last year – the Galaxy Z Flip8 with 256 GB of storage is expected to cost €1,299, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra with 256 GB of storage will cost as much as €2,199. The upgrade to 512 GB of storage now costs €200, instead of just €120 as it did last year. Samsung is reportedly pricing he Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra with 1 TB of storage at €2,799, a whopping €280 more than the Galaxy Z Fold7.
The all-new Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide is reportedly exactly €200 cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in all storage configurations. The lower price is likely due in no small part to the lack of a telephoto camera and the smaller displays. All three foldables were seen just a few days ago in what are said to be official images.
