Rumours say that Dell wants to replace its Latitude XT in November 2008 by its successor Latitude XT2.

The new Latitude XT2 is a tablet PC like its predecessor Latitude XT. It will be equipped with Intel’s newest mobile technology. Including Intel’s Centrino 2 technology and this can be equipped with a ULV or LV processor. Furthermore, a UMA graphic card will be built in as well, and it shall support Vista Aero. Probably, the Latitude XT2 gets an integrated optical drive instead of a docking station. One of the notebooks USB ports gets replaced by an eSATA port, but two USB ports are still integrated. Probably, the same display like the XT will be installed, which provides a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels. More information about the Latitude XT2 is going to be available by November.
