EverSiege: Untold Ages comes with a dense and value-heavy experience at its current $14.99 price point
EverSiege Untold Ages debuted March 26, 2026, as a $19.99 strategy rogue-lite from Tindalos Interactive. Currently 25% off at $14.99, it features MOBA-style combat with city-building and three-player co-op.

While March has been dominated by games like Thysiastery and Banquet for Fools, a new hybrid title has arrived on the scene. Tindalos Interactive - the studio behind Aliens: Dark Descent - officially released EverSiege: Untold Ages on March 26, 2026. Published by Dear Villagers, the game is entering the market as a hero-driven strategy rogue-lite that tasks players with defending the last human stronghold, Bastion, against an encroaching "Evil Master." It currently sits with a 73% positive rating on Steam.

The game itself is relatively accessible, requiring a 17 GB installation and a recommended 16 GB of RAM. The base price is $19.99, though a 25% introductory discount brings it down to $14.99 until early April. While the game is currently listed as Windows-only, it is playable on the Steam Deck (curr. $820 on Amazon for a renewed variant), though early comments from players highlight that certain UI elements and targeting reticles can be finicky during handheld play. The developer has already issued a hotfix to address a game-freeze bug affecting solo players who lose their internet connection during a run.

The narrative is based on a cycle of sieges where you play as a Scyron, a demi-god sealed in ancient armor. Your objective is to manage the city's resources, rebuild permanent defensive structures like the Knights Barracks or Protection Gates, and push back against enemy hordes in real-time combat. The loop is defined by a time-travel mechanic that restarts the run after defeat or victory, so you can carry over upgrades. Success in the game mostly depends on balancing the settlement's economy with the military strength needed to end the assault.

Gameplay variety is taken care of by six distinct Wargears - ranging from daggers to tank-heavy swords - and six elemental Essences like fire and acid. Fusing these create over 70 spell evolutions. Beyond the hero units, players must deploy and upgrade 20 different troop types to hold lanes and clear creature camps for skill shards. The maps are procedurally generated, which means that the geography and quest locations shift with every leap back in time so that players can face the evolving versions of the primary antagonist.

The biggest hurdle for EverSiege's launch build so far is the state of its co-op progression. Currently, only the lobby host earns the meta-currency needed for permanent upgrades, so guest players are left in a stagnant state regarding their own account advancement. While the MOBA-inspired combat is definitely engaging, some users are complaining regarding input delay and clunky targeting for ranged attacks.

For solo players, EverSiege: Untold Ages comes with a dense and value-heavy experience at its current $14.99 price point. The complexity of the gear synergies and the "just one more run" loop are strong, provided you can tolerate the early lack of polish. However, those strictly looking for a cooperative experience should likely wait for Tindalos Interactive to address the progression disparity before fully committing to a purchase.
