Fujitsu: Fujitsu launches Lifebook AH530 GFX

Fujitsu’s new notebook is an updated version of the Lifebook AH530 with better graphic capabilities

Fujitsu has come up with a new netbook that boasts of superior graphics performance. Named the Lifebook AH530 GFX, the notebook is an upgraded version of the existing Lifebook AH530 with improved graphics performance. The existing model will still continue to sell alongside the new one.

The specs of the new notebook are similar to the previous model except that it has an on-board ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v graphics with a dedicated 1GB video memory. The notebook has a 15.6-inch HD glossy LCD screen and one can choose amongst Core i3, i5, or i7 CPUs to power it. Memory is expandable up to 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM and an up to 500GB HDD storage is available. One has a choice of Blu-ray Disc or DVD drives and a HDMI output port is standard. Other standard features include WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA output and gigabit Ethernet onboard. The notebook is available in two colors: glossy black and ink blue and features a spill-resistant and full numeric keyboard.

According to an official press release, the new Lifebook AH530 GFX model is available for pre-order now and shipping is expected to start from the end of August, although, no prices have been mentioned anywhere by the Fujitsu officials.
