A typically reliable leaker has outlined purported specifications of the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony's mid-cycle refresh. Reportedly, the PS5 Pro will maintain its predecessor's CPU, albeit with a 500 MHz overclock. However, an upgrade to an RDNA 3-derived GPU with more shaders should ensure significant performance improvements.

TCL has spun RayNeo off into a dedicated company that produces AR and XR products. One of the company's first products is the RayNeo Air 2, a pair of XR glasses that will be available soon with Sony Micro OLED displays for under US$300.

A Sony patent filing describes a shutter button that features haptic feedback in the form of vibration when certain actions take place. Sony provided little indication of what it plans to do with the feature in the patent documents, but it could prove quite useful for both photography and videography if sufficient customisation is enabled.

Leica has announced the new ZM 11 mechanical watch, which carries the same iconic design DNA as its cameras, and has a dual-layered dial inspired by the play of light and shadow.
