The classic iOS game Infinity Blade has been ported to PC. While this port is not officially endorsed by Epic Games and was developed by fans of the mobile game, it includes the full game. Infinity Blade was once the most popular game on iOS until its removal from the App Store in 2018.

Infinity Blade has started a new bloodline on a new platform.

The classic iOS game has been unofficially ported to Windows PCs by fans of the game. Announced on Reddit yesterday, the port is free to download from Archive.org. It seems to include the entirety of the first game, including all the weapons, shields, and enemies that were present in the original iOS release.

Since the original title featured touch and swipe controls, the port uses mouse input. Players can click and hold to pan the camera around and click on interesting objects. They can also click elements on the screen in order to equip items, dodge attacks, and swing their weapon in similar fashion to the original release.

The port has already received an update that enables key bindings for touch inputs like dodging, blocking, and directional slashes, which make the game a fair bit easier to control. Controllers aren't yet supported.

There are also developer options that let players tweak other factors of the game that were previously unavailable, such as field of view, point of view, disabling the HUD, and more.

Other options include setting the game's resolution and uncapping the framerate, which may take advantage of high refresh rate monitors. The original game was capped at 30 FPS due to the limited hardware upon which it was released (i.e., the iPhone 4), which makes the increased framerate a nice treat.

The entire game is roughly 1.22 GB when unzipped, which is compact for a PC game by today's standards. It can be downloaded via a direct link or a torrent file via the Archive page linked below. Once the file is downloaded, unzip the game and open the Binaries folder to find the launcher to start your journey toward slaying the God King.

Epic Games and Chair Entertainment, who developed the original iOS version, have yet to comment on this port, so there's no telling how long it will be available.
