Xiaomi Watch S3 releasing globally soon as retailer reveals launch pricing

Xiaomi released the Watch S3 months ago. Specifically, the smartwatch debuted in late October alongside the TV S Pro 85, Watch H1, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. While the company has not confirmed details of a global launch yet, Amazon has revealed that one is on the cards.

So far, we have discovered Xiaomi Watch S3 listings on Amazon's Brazilian, Egyptian, French and German websites through B0CSPM7CXK and B0CSKR1XQR Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASINs). On the one hand, these listings outline that Xiaomi plans to present the Watch S3 on February 25, at least in Europe. Incidentally, this release date tallies with the company's next hardware launch event, during which it will principally bring the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra to global audiences. The Watch 2 and Pad 6S Pro 12.4 are also anticipated to appear at the same event though, despite Xiaomi only launching the latter in China earlier today.

On the other hand, the listings effectively confirm the Watch S3's launch pricing. For example, Amazon has priced the smartwatch at €149.99 in France and Germany, despite their different VAT rates. As such, it would seem that Xiaomi will release the Watch S3 across the Eurozone for €149.99, which would make the smartwatch €50 cheaper than the Watch 2. In short, the pair share much of the same hardware, including a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. However, the Watch S3 will utilise Xiaomi's proprietary operating system and an interchangeable bezel, both of which the Watch 2 will lack.
