CMF by Nothing: Neckband Pro and Buds to be launched soon
CMF by Nothing is launching two new audio products onto the market and has already been advertising these in the form of teasers. These are both headphones, but with two fundamentally different designs. The CMF Neckband Pro appears to be a mobile audio solution in which the two individual headphones are connected to each other with a cable.
The design is no longer very mainstream, but still has advantages in terms of battery life, for example. In addition, depending on the specific design, the middle part with the installed battery can be placed on the back of the neck, which can also be uncomfortable during sporting activities. Using just one pair of headphones is generally not particularly easy. The CMF Neckband Pro is said to have a total of five microphones, which are said to be particularly effective at reducing disturbing background noise during phonecalls. The hybrid ANC promises a reduction of up to 50 dB.
Both models are said to support Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, so the bass is likely to be of satisfactory quality. The bass reproduction is adjustable in five levels and these can be toggled in the app. The CMF Buds appear to be more conventional, wireless headphones that come with 12.4 millimeter drivers and ANC support. Both products are scheduled to be presented on March 5 together with the Nothing Phone (2a). It remains unclear whether and when the headphones will come onto the market internationally, but CMF by Nothing already sells other products widely, such as the Nothing Buds Pro.
