Anker has announced the release date, pricing and introductory offers for the Soundcore Motion Boom 2 mobile Bluetooth speaker. The device, unveiled earlier this year, will go on sale on March 11th in countries like the US, the UK and Germany. In the US, the product will cost $129.99; if you sign up for the launch offer, you will be emailed a discount code for a free pair of Life A1 earbuds, worth $49.99.
In Germany, the speaker will cost €129.99, with signed-up customers offered free Sport X10 True Wireless Earbuds, which typically cost €79.99, with their purchase. The UK pricing remains unclear. However, Anker has revealed that a coupon for a free pair of V30i Open-Ear Earbuds worth £59.99 is offered via email.
The Soundcore Boom 2 is a 2.1-channel speaker with dual tweeters and a subwoofer. The 80W output with Active BassUp 2.0 technology provides a bassier audio. Other features include tailored EQ, a 24-hour expected run time and a light show synced to the audio. Plus, the gadget doubles as a power bank, presumably charging devices via a USB-C port, as seen in the original Anker Soundcore Motion Boom. The portable speaker has a built-in handle to make it easier to transport, can float on water, and is rated IPX7 waterproof.
