Anker SOLIX C800 Plus Portable Power Station launching soon
The Anker SOLIX C800 Plus Portable Power Station will soon be available worldwide. The gadget first appeared on the Good Design Awards website last year and has since been shown at CES 2024. The device has a 768 Wh capacity LiFePO4 battery, which is enough to charge a phone almost 50 times and power a car fridge for around 14 hours. The power pack fully recharges in under an hour with a 1,100W AC input; other charging options include 300W solar panel or car inputs.
The C800 Plus has a maximum output of 1,600W via AC (SurgePad) or 1,200W AC. There are a total of eight outlets, with other ports including USB-C, USB-A and a car socket. You can control the C800 Plus via the Anker app and view further information, like the power outputs. A more unusual feature of the power station is the camping light, which, alongside a retractable 3.3 ft (~1 m) mounting pole, is stored at the top of the device. The light has three modes, floodlight, candle, and flashlight, for up to 200 lumens of brightness. The gadget can last up to 130 hours and recharge fully in four hours.
The power bank measures 14.61 x 8.07 x 9.96-in (~371 × 205 × 253 mm) and weighs 24 lb (10.9 kg). The Anker SOLIX C800 Plus Portable Power Station will go on sale on March 12th for $649/£649/€649. Plus, customers who sign up will receive a $150/£150/€150 discount on their purchase. The Anker SOLIX C800 Portable Power Station will also launch in March; the model appears almost identical, though it lacks the camping light.
