Journey launches new AXIE portable power bank and charger
Journey has launched the AXIE 10,000mAh Global Charger & Power Bank in the US. The charging device is billed as an all-in-one solution, combining a portable power bank with a charging plug, allowing you to charge three devices simultaneously.
The AXIE has a MagSafe Qi-compatible wireless charging pad that can power devices at up to 15W, and two USB-C ports that can charge devices at up to 35W. When all three outputs are in use, 20W power is shared between the USB-C ports, with 10W available via the charging pad. The portable power bank has a 10,000mAh capacity and various safety tools to protect against issues like overvoltage and short-circuiting. You can fully recharge the power bank in under two hours via AC, with built-in LEDs to indicate the battery level. Other features include folding pins, a braided cable with a magnetic clip, an accompanying travel bag and adapters for the EU, UK and Australia.
The compact gadget has an off-white finish, measures 3.58 x 2.58 x 1.38-in (~91 x 91 x 35 mm) and weighs 366 g (~12.9 oz). You can pre-order the Journey AXIE 10,000mAh Global Charger & Power Bank in the US for $149.99. Early customers can expect their orders to ship from February 23rd. It is unclear whether the company plans to roll out its new products to other markets like Canada, the UK and Australia, where it sells other charging devices.
