Dragami Games will debut a playable demo of its untitled new Lollipop Chainsaw game at Tokyo Game Show 2026, with stage events set for September 18 and 19.

Publisher Dragami Games has confirmed that its still-untitled new entry in the Lollipop Chainsaw series will get its first playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The game was first teased in July 2025 alongside a companion anime adaptation, developed in partnership with Taiwan-based Nada Holdings, but this marks its first public appearance. The demo will be available at the SEGA/ATLUS booth, inside the dedicated Sega Partners Corner.

Demo, booth extras, and a PeachMilky appearance

Four demo stations will let attendees try the new title on the show floor throughout the event. Protagonist Juliet Starling returns with a redesigned outfit for the occasion, and the booth will include a life-size chainsaw display as part of its photo area. Official ambassador and cosplayer PeachMilky will appear at the booth wearing Juliet's new costume, giving fans an early look at her redesign in person. Anyone who completes the hands-on demo will receive an exclusive keychain, while all booth visitors can pick up promotional logo stickers while supplies last, regardless of whether they try the demo itself.

Stage events and what's still unknown

Dragami Games has also scheduled two stage events tied to the reveal. The first is a 30-minute session at the SEGA/ATLUS booth stage on September 18 at 11:40 a.m. JST, introducing the development team and sharing behind-the-scenes details on the project so far. The second is a longer, 50-minute showcase on the TGS 2026 main stage on September 19 at 9:40 a.m. JST, featuring director Mr. Nasu and JP Universe CEO Hajime Tabata. That session is expected to include a major project announcement, though Dragami Games has not detailed what that will cover.

Notably, the game's official title and release platforms remain unconfirmed heading into the show, and neither original director Goichi Suda nor developer Grasshopper Manufacture is attached to the project. With the biggest specifics still under wraps, Tokyo Game Show 2026 looks set to answer far more questions than Dragami Games has revealed so far.
