Konami and Netmarble reveal Tokyo Game Show 2026 lineup

Konami and Netmarble have released their Tokyo Game Show 2026 schedules, covering stage programs and show-floor demos ahead of the event, which runs September 17 through 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Konami is bringing playable demos and stage broadcasts for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Suikoden Star Leap, and Netmarble is showing the first playable build of Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi.

Konami opens its stage program with a Suikoden Star Leap livestream. IP producer Rui Naito, producer Shinya Fujimatsu, and director Yoshiki Takeyama will cover party combat mechanics and how the story connects to the original Suikoden. The role-playing game is already available on mobile in Japan and is heading to PC and mobile worldwide.

Later in the event, Konami will host a live gameplay showcase for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse featuring voice actors Ryotaro Okiayu (Trevor Belmont) and Satoshi Tsuruoka (Death) alongside producer Tsutomu Taniguchi. The 2D action-adventure title launches on Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC on October 15.

The publisher will also hold a Silent Hill: Townfall special stage with series producer Motoi Okamoto, followed by live gameplay commentary from Gatchman. Beyond the stage program, attendees can step into an immersive theater experience themed around the game, with participants receiving a replica of protagonist Simon's wristband, and visitors who pre-order the title on-site will receive an exclusive T-shirt while supplies last.

Netmarble unveils playable Shangri-La Frontier ARPG

Netmarble will bring the first public hands-on floor demo for Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, alongside playable builds of Solo Leveling: KARMA and Pearl in Blue. Based on the manga and anime franchise, Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi puts players in control of protagonist Rakuro Hizutome (Sunraku) and his partner Emul as they take on tag-team battles against colossal boss encounters within the game's virtual world, using a one-handed control scheme built around character swapping and chained attacks.

On September 20, a talk show will bring together Yuma Uchida, Rina Hidaka, and Yuka Terasaki, the anime's leads for Sunraku, Emul, and Akitsu Akane, who will play the demo live on stage and share their impressions. The booth will also feature daily cosplay shows starting September 18, with performers dressed as Oikatzo and Arthur Pencilgon alongside Sunraku, and cosplayer Enako appearing as a special guest for the show's opening media presentation on September 17.
