Level-5 reveals nine-title Tokyo Game Show 2026 lineup

Level-5 has published its Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth plans, confirming a nine-title lineup spanning console, PC, and mobile platforms. The show runs September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Level-5 describes the exhibit as its largest booth to date, styled as a theme-park-like space with character photo spots, and it includes six playable demos across two booths plus exclusive giveaways for visitors.

Playable demos: Layton, Decapolice, and Holy Horror Mansion

Leading Level-5's main hands-on station is Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, confirmed for a December 10, 2026, launch on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC. Visitors who complete the English-supported demo receive a themed mouse pad. The same booth hosts demos for sci-fi detective RPG Decapolice (pin badge set), ghost-craft RPG Holy Horror Mansion (puffy stickers), and Snack World: Reloaded (bandana), with the latter two making their Tokyo Game Show debut this year. Two further mobile titles, Pufflings: Journey Through a Fantasy World and Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, are playable at the neighboring NHN Japan booth, rounding out the six hands-on demos. Level-5 notes that demo and exhibition giveaways are limited and available only while supplies last.

Video showcases: Yo-kai Watch 2 remake and Switch 2 support

Beyond the playable stations, Level-5 will run video presentations for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam and the Curious Village Remake, slated for 2027, and the mobile tactical title Inazuma Eleven: Cross. The Curious Village Remake will mark the mainline series' first release on PlayStation hardware, following the original title's 2007 debut on Nintendo DS. 

The studio also confirmed Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain, a remake of the Nintendo 3DS RPG, is expanding beyond its previously announced Nintendo Switch 2 release to also launch on PlayStation 5 and PC. The remake keeps the original story while upgrading visuals, adding new scenarios, and introducing more Yo-kai to recruit. Visitors to the show can also vote for Level-5 titles in the Japan Game Awards 2026 Future Division, and all booth guests can claim a limited exclusive postcard set featuring eight designs while supplies last.
