This $70 Star Wars game is now free for select players

Amazon Prime members can now stream Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment's 2024 open-world action-adventure title, at no extra cost via Luna Standard. The game casts players as Kay Vess, a scoundrel navigating the galaxy's criminal underworld between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Reception to Star Wars Outlaws has been somewhat mixed. It holds a 75 on Metacritic and sits in the low-70s on both Steam and console storefronts, reflecting criticism that its open-world design, while dense, can feel repetitive and formulaic. Since then, however, the game has received a series of patches that have significantly improved gameplay, garnering praise from some. Playtime estimates suggest around 20 hours for a straightforward run, roughly 40 with side content, and up to 70 hours for full completion.
This offer is restricted to PC players with an Amazon Prime membership only; consoles are not included. Last but not least, Amazon has not disclosed how long the title will remain available on Prime, so subscribers will not have permanent ownership of the game.
