Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console is back in stock on the official Nintendo Store, but stock may not last long

Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 console alongside a matching Pro Controller during the recently held Zelda Direct event. Unsurprisingly, demand for the special-edition hardware was extremely high when pre-orders went live.

It didn't take long for the console to sell out on Nintendo's official store and at other retailers. Shortly afterward, units started appearing on third-party marketplaces at absurd prices, with some scalpers asking for more than $800. Thankfully, those who missed the first batch now have another chance to grab one at its regular price.

Nintendo has finally restocked the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 console on its official store, and it’s currently available for $519.99. However, considering how quickly the first batch disappeared, we're expecting this restock to sell out quickly as well. So, if you're planning to secure one, you'll want to act fast.

The matching Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Pro Controller is also back in stock. However, the version bundled with the display stand is currently marked as sold out.

The good news is that this likely won't be your only opportunity. Nintendo is expected to continue restocking the anniversary console and controller, so there's little reason to pay the inflated prices currently being demanded by scalpers.
