Nintendo Japan has posted two short Ocarina of Time remake clips, one following young Link up stairways and through alleys in a rebuilt Hyrule Castle Town and one showing adult Link climbing ladders across Gerudo Fortress to an updated Gerudo Valley theme. The Switch 2 exclusive launches on 5 November at $59.99 digital and $69.99 for the first physical print.

Nintendo has released new footage of its Ocarina of Time remake showing Hyrule Castle Town and Gerudo Fortress, days after a clip revealed a rebuilt Zora’s Domain.

The official Japanese Zelda account on X posted two clips, with the first one following young Link through the town as he runs past the couple dancing beside the fountain. The camera then swings around the square using the remake’s new camera controls while Link climbs a flight of stairs.

Alleyways, more buildings and stairways to higher parts of the town appear in the footage. The 1998 Nintendo 64 original showed the market from fixed camera angles over pre-rendered backgrounds. Nintendo’s Japanese caption describes the location as “a bustling town at the centre of the kingdom, alive with people and shops.”

The second clip moves to Gerudo Fortress with adult Link, who uses ladders to reach the upper levels of its buildings. It ends with the camera panning across the dunes of the surrounding desert. An updated arrangement of the Gerudo Valley theme plays throughout. Its Japanese caption calls the site “a fortress built in a vast desert, home to the all-female Gerudo.”

Zora’s Domain clip shows young Link climbing winding stairs past a series of waterfalls before diving in, with the camera following him below the surface in the first look at underwater swimming in the remake. Swimming joins rolling into a sprint and a dedicated jump button as new movement options.

The run of clips began with Goron City on Death Mountain. Other confirmed additions include humming or playing ocarina songs into the Switch 2 microphone instead of entering button sequences, fully voiced cutscenes, and an orchestral score in place of the original MIDI music. Link can walk into many shops and indoor areas without a loading transition, and the game works with the Zelda Notes app.

The remake launches exclusively on Switch 2 on 5 November. The digital edition costs $59.99, while the first physical print, which comes with textured foil cover art, costs $69.99.
