Samsung officially reveals 6,000mAh phone with LPDDR5X memory and 3.5mm headphone jack

Samsung has officially listed the Galaxy A08 on its regional websites in Serbia and Bosnia. The product pages reveal the smartphone’s key specifications and color options. For context, the Galaxy A08 succeeds the Galaxy A07 (curr. $124.70 on Amazon), which was launched in 2025 as a budget-oriented smartphone.
The new Samsung Galaxy A08 features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. On the rear, the phone has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, it utilizes an 8MP front-facing camera.
The exact chipset name is not specified. However, Samsung says that the phone uses the LPDDR5X RAM standard. The phone is also said to come in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options, with support for microSD cards up to 2TB.
The Galaxy A08 packs a 6,000mAh battery, up from the predecessor’s 5,000mAh unit. In terms of connectivity, the A08 supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3. Notably, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack and has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone measures 8mm thick and weighs 197 grams. It comes in three color options: Green, Dark Blue, and Silver.
Samsung has not disclosed the Galaxy A08’s pricing on these regional websites. However, the 4GB/64GB variant is listed by Virgin Megastore UAE at AED 625 (~$170).
