Honor officially releases phone with 8,300mAh battery

The Honor Play 11 Pro was launched in August 2026. It features a 6.6-inch OLED panel, a Dimensity 6500 chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery. Now, the company has released the standard Honor Play 11 in China as a more affordable option.

The Play 11 features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1,592 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The phone features a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It packs an 8,300mAh battery (10K Anker powerbank curr. $29.99 on Amazon) with support for 45W wired charging. The smartphone measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 216.5g.

It comes with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity, the Honor Play 11 offers 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. The phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

The Honor Play 11 comes in Desert Gold, Phantom Black, Meteor Silver, and Misty Purple colorways. The base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 1,499 (~$223). The 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations are priced at CNY 1,699 (~$253) and CNY 1,999 (~$298), respectively. The Honor Play 11 appears to be based on the global Honor X7e Plus 5G. However, the X7e Plus 5G has a slightly smaller 8,100mAh battery.
