Deal | Citizen's solar-powered Weekender is cheaper than it has ever been on Amazon, at 58% off

Amazon currently has the Citizen Eco-Drive Weekender AW1150-07E at only $137.38, and Keepa records that as the lowest the listing has ever gone. The low was set today, and it undercuts anything the Amazon or third-party new series had previously reached.

Amazon shows 58% off a $325 list price, but Keepa has $325 as the highest figure the listing has ever carried, set on 2 September, eleven days ago. Measured against the 90-day average of $230.84, the saving is about $93, or 40%. Against the 180-day average of $216.74 it comes to roughly $79. Those are big numbers. They just are not 58%.

The watch itself is a 44.5 mm stainless steel sport casual from Citizen's Drive family, with black resin accents at the case flanks and a black dial finished in a vertical pinstripe. It runs three hands and a date at three o'clock, with luminous hands and markers beneath a mineral crystal rather than sapphire. The strap is perforated black polyurethane on a conventional buckle, and water resistance is 100 m. Caliber J810 powers it, an Eco-Drive movement that charges from any light source and never needs a battery, which is the main argument for it over a conventional quartz at similar money.

In the listing, Amazon says that the material is stainless-steel, but that covers the case only. The strap is polyurethane, so this is not an all-metal watch.

Amazon holds the buy box, the listing shows stock, and delivery is quoted for 17 September, or 14 September with Prime. Used copies have sold lower, at $115.13 in April 2025, but none are available now.
