Lenovo debuts colorful Ideapad Vibe OLED laptops with AMD Ryzen AI 400 and Snapdragon X CPUs

Lenovo has debuted the 14- and 15-inch IdeaPad Vibe OLED laptops in seven colors developed with Pantone projecting strength, warmth, harmony, and optimism. The lightweight Copilot+ notebooks use AMD Ryzen AI 400 and Snapdragon X processors to handle AI tasks with ease.

The IdeaPad Vibe is available in seven distinctive colors created in collaboration with Pantone – Chill Blue, Dreamy Violet, Lowkey Grey, Moody Blue, Radiant Coral, Spicy Gold, and Zen Green. Each color was created with a focus on communicating uplifting emotions and moods, such as warmth and confidence. The keyboard keys have 1.3 mm travel and can be further customized with optional keycaps in different colors.

Each laptop is ready for daily AI tasks thanks to the option of a Ryzen AI 400 with 50 TOPS of AI performance and up to 32 GB of upgradable, dual-channel RAM, or a Snapdragon X CPU with similar TOPS coupled with up to 24 GB of non-upgradable, dual channel RAM. Both have dual SSD slots and can be ordered with up to 1 TB of storage.
Although specific IdeaPad Vibe configurations have not been revealed, in multi-processor benchmarks the 10C/20T Ryzen AI 9 465 CPU easily beat the A18 processor found in the colorful MacBook Neo that NBC reviewed (sold here on Amazon).
The other major features are identical, including a 5 MP IR camera, dual 2-watt Dolby Audio speakers, two USB-C ports (PD 3.0, DP 1.2), two USB-A 3.2 ports, a headphone jack, a microSD card reader, and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity.

The 14-inch model can be fitted with up to a WUXGA OLED panel, while the 15-inch model can be fitted with up to a 2.1K OLED panel. Both are also available with more affordable IPS LCD panels. The AMD models come with a 50 Wh or 65 Wh battery, while all Snapdragon models come with a 50 Wh battery.
The 14-inch model weighs 1.3 kg (2.87 lbs.) and measures 313.6 x 224.8 x 14.9 mm (12.35 x 8.85 x 0.59 in.), while the 15-inch model weighs 1.5 kg (3.31 lbs.) and measures 343.6 x 242.2 x 14.9 mm (13.53 x 9.54 x 0.59 in.).
The AMD variant will be available in October 2026 starting at $699.99, while the Snapdragon X variant will be available in November 2026 starting at the same price. Unlike ARM-based computers, which use processors such as the Snapdragon X or A18 that are not fully compatible with apps, drivers, and peripherals, the IdeaPad Vibe models with AMD processors are.
