Deal | HP OmniBook X Flip 16 with Lunar Lake processor discounted below $730

HP is currently offering the OmniBook X Flip 16 convertible for just under $730 as part of its Labor Day sale. At that price, you're getting a 16-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, 400 nits of peak brightness, and regrettably only 62.5% coverage of the sRGB color space. Alternatively, buyers can upgrade to a 3K OLED panel for an extra $130.
Powering the machine is an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor (4x P-cores, 4x LP E-cores) paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 on-package memory and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Connectivity includes a Thunderbolt 4 port (DisplayPort 2.1, Power Delivery), a further 10 Gbps USB-C port (DisplayPort 1.4a, Power Delivery), a pair of 10 Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack. An Intel AX211 wireless card adds Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
The 2-in-1 laptop's aluminum chassis measures 14.02 × 9.67 × 0.61 in (356 × 246 × 15.49 mm) and tips the scales at 4.15 lb (1.88 kg), while packing a 68 Wh battery that can charge at up to 65 W with the included USB-C power adapter.
Be sure to check out our review of the OmniBook X Flip 16. Its solid build quality, long battery life, and high power efficiency all impressed us. Drawbacks include the mediocre keyboard and absence of an SD card reader.
