The HP OmniBook X Flip 14 is currently discounted to just $649.99 at Best Buy. For that price, buyers are getting a 14-inch OLED touch panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, full coverage of DCI-P3, and up to 300 nits of brightness.
Inside is an AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 chip (1x Zen 5 core, 3x Zen 5c cores, Radeon 840M integrated graphics) paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD occupying an M.2 2280 slot (Kingston NV3 1 TB SSD curr. $162 on Amazon).
Connectivity comprises a couple of 40 Gbps USB-C ports (Power Delivery 3.1, DisplayPort 2.1), two 10 Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack. Support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 is also included.
The convertible's aluminum chassis measures 12.32 × 8.60 × 0.57 in (313 × 218 × 14.5 mm) and tips the scales at 3.09 lb (1.4 kg), while housing a 59 Wh battery capable of charging at up to 65 W with the included GaN power adapter.
Be sure to check out our review of the OmniBook X Flip, as we were impressed with its great battery life and high build quality. On the other hand, the screen is fairly dim and reflective, making it more difficult to use the 2-in-1 outdoors.
