Asus releases 16-inch gaming laptop with 165 Hz OLED display and RTX 5070

Asus has made the 2026 TUF lineup available through the company's US online store. Asus is currently selling the FX608LPG model, while another TUF Gaming F16 configuration, the RTX 5060-based FX608LMG, has also appeared on the product page.
We also recently reviewed the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2026), which brings a brighter OLED display and updated hardware.
The Asus FX608LPG comes with Intel's Core Ultra 9 290HX processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU running at up to 115 W (100 W + 15 W Dynamic Boost) and 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The FX608LMG uses an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with the same power limit and memory capacity. Both models also include Intel's AI Boost NPU with up to 13 TOPS.
The laptop has a 16-inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It also supports 100% DCI-P3, Nvidia G-Sync, Advanced Optimus, and a MUX Switch.
The TUF Gaming F16 comes with 16 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 PCIe slots allow users to upgrade both memory and storage later.
In terms of ports, it comes with Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, three USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
The laptop has a 90 Wh battery and ships with a 280 W adapter. Other features include dual second-generation Arc Flow fans, Dolby Atmos speakers, a Full HD IR webcam, and a one-zone RGB backlit keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key. It weighs 2.2 kg (4.85 lb) and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.
The Asus TUF Gaming F16 (2026) FX608LPG is on sale now for $2,399.99 through the Asus US Store. Pricing for the RTX 5060-based FX608LMG has not been announced yet.
